I got so tired of the sickeningly boring default colour fonts my msn offered me, and went to download the new msn on impulse.
Well, its not exactly new, seeing that half the population already has it, but I didn't.
I have been living all this while looking at the html on people's names, wondering what the colour is supposed to be like.
And now, its a whole new world!
But the colours got annoying after a while, it was just too colourful.
LOL.
Right now, the only thing I'm really fascinated about is that the chat windows can be transparent!
Its so coooooool!
Though if you have too many windows open, it can hinder your reading and all.
But like Cheryl said, the purpose of it is probably so that you can watch youtube and chat at the same time.
...
And I accidentally agreed to some advertisment thing, and now random advertisments are popping up like, every 2 minutes.
Which is rather annoying too.
Any idea how to stop it?

Help wanted
I'm not going to complain that I have nothing to do, that now that we have no school, I'm so bored that I want to pull my hair out.
Because I'm not.
Bored I mean.
I have lots and lots of things to occupy my time.
*nods convincingly*
At this point of time, the last two papers seem so far away, its almost non-existant.
Speaking of which, I had this dream (more like nightmare) where I went for MGA exam, only to realise that I hadn't studied for complex numbers, nor arithmetic series and sequences.
In fact, I think I didn't study anything.
I do hope things does not come to this state.
Oh and I have given up on the riddle. (and given up looking for clues on the forums too. Its rather tiring you see)
Please tell me if anyone has figured out Level 17.
I'm sick of staring at those beer bottles.

Almost there, but not quite
YAYEEEEEEE two-thirds freedom has arrived!!!
Like, finally.
Okay, so I managed to find my camp form after all, and I won't be kicked out of school for not handing them in.
Funnily enough, it turned out that it was in the very first place I had started looking, but as always, my eyes decided to show its uselessness in the most critical of times.
Oh and I decided I don't hate Health enough to drop it anyway, and handed in the form for subject request. :D
Rest assured, I have not fallen in love with it. Yet. And probabaly never will.
I have only one thing to say about the Health paper. The questions seemed to go on and on and on and on and on and NEVER SEEMED TO END.
I swear I didn't stop writing at all. I was writing for the whole duration of the paper but I still finished the whole paper with only about 3 minutes to spare.
Hey I write fast okay. (:
And Methods was misleading cannnnnnnnnnn.
THEY CHEATED OUR FEELINGS.
%%@#^#%
They made the basics part rather easy and made us all feel happy and contented and everything and then threw the whole bomb that is analysis paper into our faces.
):
And Sheryl said that it was set by mrW.
OMG HOW COULD HE!!
HOW COULD HE TORURE US LIKE THAT!
And he was in the hall invigilating during the paper!
Can you just imagine what he was thinking when he walked around the hall and saw everyone practically pulling their hair out in fustration?
He was probably laughing his head off. *insert evil laughter echoing in background*
Anyway, anyone up for riddles?
http://www.mcgov.co.uk/zahada.html
I'm playing this online riddle game, and amstuck at Level17!
(Okay, I started cheating abit by the time I reached about Level 11 and went to the forum to look for clues. But I still solved it myself okay! As in, I didn't get the blindingly get the answer straight away from the forum. I just read the hints and solved it! Yay :)

panic attack
Omg I am so going to die a horribleeeeeeeeeeee death tomorrow.
Tonight was totally unproductive, attempted doing health, with the key word being ATTEMPTED.
I feel really sleeeeeeeeeeeeeepy.
Maybe I should just go and sleep and hyperventilate about the exams tomorrow morning.
I can't imagine everyone else calmly sitting in their homes, happily studying for methods ONLY and here I am, trying to juggle two subjects and failing miserably.
I think I'm close to getting a heart attack. I CAN'T TAKE THIS ANYMORE. I HATE HEALTH.
AND I CAN'T FIND MY CAMP FORM, AND ITS LIKE, DUE TOMORROW. (for me)
OMG.
SOB.
THEY WON'T LET ME GO INTO YEAR12 ANYMORE. ):
BYE BYE.

The aftermath
YAY CHEMISTRY IS OVER! LALALALALALA.
AND SO IS ENGLISH!
I was telling Tienyi before the exam about how the sample that we got for one language analysis paragraph seems too short.
Then we agreed on the fact that we should talk more, like, add more stuff into the paragraphs to make it longer.
Little did we realise that, although that one paragraph looks pretty short on its own, when you actually have to write nine of such paragraphs, its rather scary.
1 short paragraph x 9 = A ridiculous amount of writing
Not to mention, it takes about 100000 hours to think up of what to write in the first place.
And there I was happily writing the essay, when I realised that the time was slowly seeping away and that when I started panicking and wrote like some mad woman.
As always, if you were to look at the handwritings on my first and last page, you wouldn't even be able to tell that its written by the same person.
Now my finger really hurts because of all the writing that I have been doing this past... 4 days?
):
After all the panicking that happened yesterday, it feels sort of anti-climatic now, and I have totally no mood to study for health.
Nor methods.
But if I'm going to measure the panicability of health and methods, I think methods rates about 10 and health... 50?
Not that its even possible to fail health (Seriously, you can walk in to the exam not studying at all and still pass because that's just how common-sensical it is), but after all the relatively lenient grades we have been getting all this while, the pressure is there to do as well for exams.
Which is rather depressing because the prospects for doing well for health exam is diminishing by the minute.
I mean, how are we supposed to memorise about a thousand questions in one night?!?!?!
A night that has to be shared together with methods no less. ):
I'm still thinking whether I should keep health next year.
LOL.
And I have to decide by tomorrow. ):
I have already planned it out.
My parents will sign the form for me.
Then I will bring the slip to school, take the health exam, then based on how well/bad the paper goes, I shall decide whether to drop or keep it.
Seeeeeeeeee this is called effective planning.

Just a little more
After a whole day, no, three whole days of studying, I am finally going to sleep. And face the exam bright and early tomorrow.
Because Ihave given up am readyyyy for them! YAY.
(Positive thinking always works. At least... until the time when you flip open the paper. That's when whatever gallons of positive thinking you may have go flying out your brain and the only thought occupying the whole volume of your brain is, well, nothing. That's the whole point. Your brain goes blank.)
Well, all I can say is that I'm really proud of myself for finishing all my chemistry notes!
Because more often than not, I start writing notes for a certain subject and give up about a few chapters later (which is what happened for English anyway).
BUT I PERSERVERED AND FINISHED CHEMISTRY!
YAY ME.
(Though... Whether I actually remember what I wrote in all thoes notes is a whole other matter)
I'm still terrified of English.
I'm probably the only person in the whole level who is walking into the exam hall without having written a language analysis essay before. Like, never ever.
I know. Digging my own grave is what you call it.
But I don't believe in staying up the whole night for a mass cramming session, because there simply is no point.
Not only would the panic levels in my brain be at its max (meaning nothing will be absorbed), I'l also be jeopardising whatever chances I have of doing as well for Chemistry as I can (because of lack of sleep).
Its a lose-lose situation isn't it?
I rather keep my chemistry grade, thank you very much, then to throw both chemistry and english grades away.
This post feels very ranty. And long winded. ):
I do hope this ranty feeling stays until English paper tomorrow.
Will probably need to rant up quite a few points to fill up my essays.
ANYWAY, gooooooooooooooood luck to everyone for tomorrow (onwards, all the way until 7thNov) ! :D
We can do it, YES WE CAN. :D
Because I

What's the point?
What's the whole bloody point?
Nothing will ever be good enough.
While everyone was buried deep in their books last night, I watched Toy Story 2 (which was showing on tv).
Yay me.

And everything came crashing down
I damn sad laaaaaaa. ):
----
Did Methods today, and it felt really productive!
For the first 3/4 of the day anyway.
Managed to finish up until the second last chapter, after which my parents came back and it was dinner time and all, and I haven't done anything since.
I feel so proud of my summary sheet.
I can like, photocopy it and sell it!
Maybe I can add it in when I sell my textbook and ask for extra money.
Heh heh.
They're very good quality notes okay! :D
The tv was showing Harry Potter and I went to watch for a while.
HAHAHA their voices are all so high, I even thought for a second that my brother had changed the keys of the dvd player and made all ther voices sharper.
Then I realised that he couldn't have, because we weren't watching a dvd.
...
That was when I imagined the mortification Daniel Radcliffe and Rupert Grint will feel if they were to ever watch their first HP movie again.
HAHAHA.
Okay random.
ANYWAY, this time next week, two-thirds of my papers will be over!
At this point of time, a week sound sounds like eons away.
I wonder if I would have stopped mourning over my (soon-to-be) disastrous papers yet.

Last day of school ):
I realised that my posts are getting longer and longer by the day, and according to Tienyi, posts must always be as short and sweet as possible to attract maximum readership.
I mean, who would want to read about me rambling on and on pointlessly?
But today shall be an exception, because it was the last day of school.
Sort of anyway.
No more official classes. Until next year!! ):
Its sort of a funny feeling, to think that I have survived a whole school year here in MWSC.
It really doesn't seem very long ago since that first day of school, where we were brought on a tour around the school by msAb.
And I do feel a tinge of sadness to think that we have only one year left.
It has been an interesting experience to be the seniors, but not THE seniors.
Does that make sense?
We had the authority of the blue jumpers, but not the intense responsibility that came together with being Year12. :D
Last day ended off with a rather high note, with MGA. :DDDDD
I really enjoyed all those MGA lessons, with Irene's randomness and all. Heheeee.
Only a nice teacher like mrW will put up with our endless talking and laughing during all those times when we were supposed to be doing the exercises, and still give us excellent for "makes good use of lesson time to do work" in our interim reports.
Though, of course, we all know that deep deep deep down, he enjoys laughing at Irene's weird remarks.
So its okay. Haha. (:
We want mrW for methods next year!
Transfer our whole class overrrrrr!! :D
HEHE.
And anddddd msP gave our whole bio class a certificate each, awarding us for things like being the most hardworking that kinda stuff!
Heeeeee and you know what my cert said?! :D

She said my handwriting looks typed!
So honoured!
I loveeeeeeeee msP! <3
I want her for bio next year too. LOL.
We took class photos for bio and mga, but there's no way I can possibly get ahold of the bio class photo (its with some random classmate whom I don't even speak to) but MGA HOHOHO, credits all go to Irene and Melody!
I stole from them for a good and beneficial purpose. (ie. for my blog)
Thy name is Robin Hood. :D

This our lovely class.
LOL we realised about halfway thorough the year that our WHOLE class are Asians except for Emma. HAHAHA.
Spot her! :D

And this is our lovely teacher (who incidentally, is marking our last outcome of the year)

Heheeee the Methods3/4 class from next door saw us taking photos and decided to join in, forming a mega maths class!
We did take a few photos here and there with Shireen's phone while waiting for Tienyi (we waited for a whole hour okay!) but I forgot to take them from her, so they'll have to wait.
I'll get them from her another time! :D
It didn't really feel like the last day of school, with exams looming and all.
It felt like we were eventually going to come back to review our papers.
But we weren't.
It feels strange to think that our holidays are starting right after the exams, no more agony of waiting for our papers in anticipation, no more going through papers, no more lessons, no more post-exam-slacking-sessions in class, no more recess standing/eating near our lockers, no more lunchtimesnerding hmm... reading magazines no wait, dilligently studying in the library.
No more.. Year11.
The next time this whole routine will be starting again, we'll be Year12s! :D
Just the thought of that makes you feel old eh?

Schooooool stuff
HAPPEEEEEE BITRHDAY TO JIANYUN! :DDDDD
Me is nice, we have arranged a phone date for tonight. Hahaha.
Though, I just had to live up to my name and send the card such that it doesn't reach in time.
I can't just throw my Queen of Procrastination title away, can I?
Found out today that the reason why we managed to reach home relatively safe and dry yesterday was because their eggs all got confiscated.
HAHAHAHAHA.
Apparently, they had hidden it in the middle school locker area, and the teachers found it and took it away.
HAHAHAHAHA.
Imagine their shock when they had came to school yesterday morning, and saw that all their ammo and weapons were gone.
HAHAHAHAHA.
Who ask them so dumb, hide in such an obvious area. Tsk tsk.
It feels kinda weird, now that all the Year12s were gone, we're sorta like the most senior in the school.
We're the only ones wearing the blue jumper and it felt really cool! :D
I FEEL THE SENIORITY.
Sheryl says, apparently, we are now rulers of the school!
I wouldn't have put it quite that way, but yeah okay, WE RULE THE SCHOOL NOW.
WAHAHAHAHAHA.
WATCH OUT FOR OUR MUCKUP DAY NEXT YEAR.
Not that I'm doing anything OF COURSE, why would I?
I said I would put a stop to this tradition.Not.
Been sharing locker with Sheryl for two days, and its been a rather interesting experience, to finally walk into and stay in Year11 territory.
Having had our lockers in Year12 area the whole year, I've never really ventured into the Year11 locker bay before.
It was weird to finally put a face to all those lockers.
They had always seemed faceless to me, and I had never imagined all my classmates (yearmates?) with their lockers.
I finally experienced what it felt like to have the bottom locker, and have everyone standing around me.
I felt about as small as a baby hobbit then.
It was rather intimidating, how the guys (whose lockers were all the way at the top. lucky people.) were all surrounded and having their own conversations above me (above my head. how rude.) and there I was, squatting in front of the bottom locker, silently taking my books.
I have now decided that I want a top locker for next year too.
I REFUSE TO USE A BOTTOM LOCKER. HMPH.

So today was our first last lesson of the year.
And it was English.
It is only at this point of time, the last last last lesson of the year with mrL, that we all realised we miss msK.
The thing is, with msK, we knew exactly (more or less anyway) what she wanted, and we just did it the way she wanted, and that was it.
She was happy. We were happy. Everyone was happy.
But with mrL, everything is just sooooooo ambiguous.
He walks into class smiley and all, but he doesn't really teach us anything. ):
And we just learnt that he is an even stricter marker than msK.
That was when saw all our potential As and A+s fly away happily.
Bye bye darling As.
We'll miss you.
Was talking to Patricia during English today, and it was sort of scary because she is anything but a procrastinator.
There I was, struggling to even start my revision, and she's saying that she's ready for half her subjects.
She has finished the entire Health revision sheet!!! OMG.
Here's what happened yesterday, when I decided to start Health revision.
I wrote the title of the chapter on a blank piece of paper.......... And that was it.
All hail me, Queen of Procrastination.
Ps. THIS time, this minute, this second last year, I was just about to start my very first Olevel paper!
See how far we've come. :DDDD

:DDDD

For Tienyi (:
This is for Tienyi, who personally requested me to do this, which I shall take as an honour. :D
One condition: No explanations. Just facts.
This is really funnnnn!
Ten things I don't know about you people!
I'll be waiting. Heheee.
One condition: No explanations. Just facts.
10 things you probably do not know about me
1) I am a sentimental freak. Presents, cards, smses, emails, I keep 'em all.
2) My first memory is of me stupidly wearing a pair of socks with sandals (and getting laughed at)
3) I love birthday wishes. Not that I mind presents though.
4) I have only cried-and clearly remember doing so-in front of people once.
5) I have been wearing specs since I was 6years old.
6) I love mangoes.
7) I am terrified of jumping into swimming pools, no matter how shallow it is.
8) Iloveam obsessed with super thin pens. (LOL I'm sure many are already
aware of this)
9) Weird, but I have eaten fried rat/mouse before.
10) Much as I complain about getting wet, I enjoy walking in the rain, no matter how heavy it is.
This is really funnnnn!
Ten things I don't know about you people!
I'll be waiting. Heheee.
And so it begins
We reached school this morning to realise that there were teachers stationed at every single entrance to the school, to check the bags of every single student to walk into the premises.
Kinda pointless really.
Everyone knows that they have already stashed all their weapons in various locations around the school.
Anyway, so we spent the first three periods continually looking over our shoulders, half expecting to be ambushed anytime.
Oh yes, they tried to trick us by putting up a sign on my bio classroom door that there was a room change.
But of course, clever students like us do not get tricked!
Okay so MrC tore it off even before I could even see it and decide whether it was a prank or not. So I wasn't really given a chance to show my cleverness. But we do not need to know that.
The graduation assembly finally arrived after recess.
And we went there rather early to chope the best seats.
I must mention now that seats are a very crucial factor in deciding whether you get showered with stinkbombs, fairydust, or water bombs.
Now, we had already very stratigically planned where we were going to sit.
The Year12s were going to walk down the middle aisle, and the Year11s (us) will be sitting on the right side of the hall.

So we can either sit in the red, blue, or green zone.
People in the red zone will get sprinkled with pretty sparkles and stringy party stuff, in the end walking out of the hall looking like a christmas tree.
People in the green zone will get hit with the stink bombs and water bombs, because they are being thrown with force from the middle, meaning it will probably land some distance from the middle. I don't think I need to say what they'll walk out looking as. (or smelling as rather)
So we concluded that people in the blue zone would be the safest, because they are right in the middle.
They are too far to be within physical reach, but too near to be within throwing range. :D
So yes, we went really early and found that half the level was already there.
.____.
So much for choping seats.
But we did manage to sit in the middle anyway.
It was kinda interesting to see all the ways the Year12 had altered their uniforms.
They cut it up and made it into all sorts of designs.
It felt rather weird, probably because it has been ingrained in me that uniforms are sacred.
They can't be cut up, torn apart, etc etc.
To see them openly writing and signing all over their uniforms, sending them to alteration shops to have them all made up into revealing dresses and wearing them proudly in front of the teachers, it felt like I was witnessing a downright rebellion, a stampede storming through the school to put their point across.
There were all sorts of random things flying around, and nothing really major hit me!
I mean, I didn't get a stinkbomb thrown right into my face or anything.
This waterbomb exploded a few seats down from us, and the girl who got hit flicked her hair all over, and we got wet .___.
Oh and a bottle of sour milk appeared a few seats down (again) and everybody jumped up like they were being electricuted.
It's very interesting to see everyone freaking out the moment a stink bomb appear near them.
The walk home was very uneventful, considering all the horror stories I have heard about eggs and waterbombs being thrown at you from cars driving past.
We did see the remains of eggs on the floors along the road, and each smashed egg we saw increased our paranoia that anytime, some car will just whizz past and leave us with the messy contents of an egg.
Or worse, a rotten egg.
But nope, it didn't happen.
Bit of an anti-climax really.
LOL.
I would have wanted to say that I did not get hit by anything AT ALL but I came back from school and realised that there were blobs of red paint all over my summerdress.
WHICH CANNOT BE WASHED OFF.
I didn't even know when that happened.
It was probably from the flecks of water that kept showering over our heads.
Damnnnnnnnnnnnn annoying la.
Why must they use such GOOD QUALITY paint!!! ):
Why can't they just use some cheapo paint from some random shop.
Now my summerdress is ruined. ):

I'm really interested to read the Year12 students' blogs about today!
But obviously, seeing that I don't even know a single one of them, much less their blog address, its kinda impossible.
HEH HEH next year will be my turnnnnn!
Time to start planning. :DDDD
Okay la, I should be joining Tienyi in putting a stop to this viscious cycle.
This pranking tradition has gone on too long!
No more honey on railings.
Its such a waste of.. honey. :/

Terrorising tradition
Changed skin again, because the other one was pretty screwed in widescreens.
And I want my blog to be friendly to all types of computers.
I think this is nicer anyway. :D
This is still very user (reader) friendly, because its very clear.
There are no misleading links which you can click on, which might eventually mess up the whole page.
There are navis, but I think they're simple enough. :D
Today, we got a glimpse at what this week would be like.
More specifically, like what tomorrow will be like.
And... It is scary.
Melody did tell me yesterday what it might be like, but to be standing there, right in the midst of all the big and scary Year12s, I think its even more horrifying.
Well, for people like us, whose lockers are right in the danger zone, battle zone, war zone, whatever.
Yeah, its like digging our own graves if we insist on staying there. (We'll be moving our stuff up to share with people in the rightful Year11 lockerbay tomorrow. No way am I walking right into Year12 territory)
I'm sure all of them would recognise us for being the miserable group of Year11s who have invaded into their territory, undermining their seniority.
To be standing there just waiting to be pranked on, we're really asking for unwanted trouble.
Maybe I should just go and hide in some corner for the whole day tomorrow.
HAHAHA.
I heard that the girls' toilet were painted with honey today; taps, flushes, toilet seats and all.
AND I WANTED TO TAKE A LOOK!
I mean, sadist people like me just love to walk right into the pranked area and revel in the greatness of it all.
How did they find the time and patience to painstakingly paint honey all over?
But it was locked, so didn't get to see it.
But I can just imagine the whole toilet being all gooey and stuff.
Eww.
So we came back from our period3 class, to see that the whole gate leading to the Year12 locker area was being blocked up by layers and layers of plastic wrap.
It was apparently a prank to seal up the way, so that people will have to make a huge detour just to get back to their lockers.
-.-
I must say it is pretty dumb to play against their own people, I mean, if they want to prank, prank other levels la.
..... Okay maybe I take that back.
They can go ahead and prank all their friends.
As long as they don't touch us.
Its kinda funny because the whole school seems to be on high security and all (Sheryl and I couldn't even go to the toilet without getting our school diaries signed. How primary school is it that the teacher has to sign in my diary just so I can go to the toilet??)
And we even glimpsed msAb walking around the school armed with a huge bat, presumely to whack anyone who dares to start pranking before the, er, official day for pranking.
There'll be bag checks and all tomorrow, but everyone knows that that wouldn't deter these horrible meanies who go around throwing eggs at people.
They'd probably by now have hidden all their ammo around the school. ):
So walking home today, just when I was about to turn into the safety of the road leading to my house, this car drove past, saw me, and cheered out of their window.
Not to sound self-centred and all, but I know it was directed at me, because I was the only person on the whole road .___.
They're probably Year12 students bent on terrifying the living daylights out of me.
Well, cheer or scream all you want, as long as nothing touches me. :D
Sheryl's already happily planning what she wants to prank next year but I REFUSE TO.
I shall be nice and kind hearted and NOT PLAN ANYTHING DEVIOUS because I am a very peace-loving person.
We shall see if I'm still peace-loving tomorrow.
And I want my blog to be friendly to all types of computers.

For my loyal fans
Can't be bothered studying for bio test.
Changed skin because some people were complaining that the previous one was very hard to navigate. -.-
I don't really find this very nice though, but of course, anything for my dear readers.
This is as user (reader) friendly as it can ever get.
Light, soothing colours; spaced-out; no messy pictures; and most importantly, no navigations at all! :D

Of birthday wishes and good luck
Yesterday was Aunty's birthday! But I didn't use the computer (Please do not gasp in shock. Its not that surprising. No its not.), so today I shall wish her....
HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
This happy birthday is very special, because it can be interpreted either as a belated birthday wish for 2008, or it can also be an early birthday wish for 2009.
Whatever floats your boat!
YAY.
Such an ingenious plan. :DDDDD
Like I said, I didn't use the computer yesterday. (okay maybe I turned it on for a teeeeeeeny bit of time to reply tags and all, but that was it I swear!)
I WAS AT HOME!
And I did homework and studied Chem!
YAY I rock la. :DDDD
Olevels starting tomorrow!
Really interesting to think that it has been one year since ours.
I would have roped Cheryl in with me to reminisce about how this time last year we were mugging our heads off, but apparently, she claims that she was still happily playing maple even hours before the papers. -.-
So, nope, not a good reminiscing buddy. xDDD
I would wish all juniors all the best, and send them much good vibes for all their papers, but I think I need some for my own exams too. Hehehe. :D
Oh well, I'm not selfish. They can share with me!
So here wishing them all the best and... do enjoy it!
Hahaha its totally a once in a lifetime chance. (:
Ps. My eyes are still intact after the third time meeting the bird (magpie?) !
And I didn't even wear a poncho.

Of water balloons and chicken eggs
Happpppppppppppppppppppppppppppppy birthday to Yih Rue and Sheryl! :DDDD
I couldn't decide whether to put 15 happy's or 16 happy's. So I settled for 31 p's.
It looks... rather long. (:
I feel this odd sense of accomplishment today.
Really! (:
Mainly because its the end of the week and I have survived the maelstrom of tests and outcomes. Heh heh.
Not to mention, I actually managed to finish the health poster on time today!
I mean, I took about 3 days (okay maybe it was more like a week) to do the chem poster the last time, but now, with the pressure of time limits and all, I actually managed a whole poster in 1.5 hours!
Though obviously, the 1.5 hour one looks horribly ugly and everything but ANYWAY.
It just goes to show how much I can actually accomplish if I do not procrastinate.
Oh well.
Today's walk home was so exciting and fun-filled because I got hit by a water balloon.
I mean, seriously, it hit me and burst all over my dress, hair and jumper. (Well, as much water a small balloon can contain anyway)
But being the wonderful, optimistic and peace loving person I am, I did not scream myself hoarse, scolding them for being so childish.
Okay it's probably more of because I didn't even know who they were.
So I didn't even have a face to think of when I went home and started stabbing one of the voodoo dolls from my extensive collection.
Yes, stabbing voodoo dolls are rather theraputic.
HEH HEH offend me and you'll get stabbed.
WAHAHAHAHAHAHA.
But seriously, water balloons?
CHILDISH. Tsk.
In fact, I think I shall thank them for the brief respite from the heat.
What with the weather being so hot and all, the sudden splash of water was sort of cooling.
LOL. (:
COME ON, pelt me with water balloons everyday.
(Shhhh this is called reverse psychology)
Now I am sort of wary of next week's Year 12 farewell thing, because YOU KNOW WHAT?
They have the right to throw anything they want at us!
OMGOMGOMG.
Apparently, people walking out of the school will get egged.
As in, have eggs thrown at them. )))))))))):
What a waste of eggs.
Think of all the starving children!
There they are eating only grains of rice everyday, and look, these people are happily throwing away such GOOD FOOD.
Can't they just nicely hand it over to me?
At least I can go home and eat it.
That way, the chicken's effort in incubating the egg and all would not be wasted.
OMG I'm meeting the magpie (or whatever species it is) tomorrow again.
Maybe I should wear a poncho or something.
And googles.
You know, just in case it goes crazy and decide to blind me.

An endless cycle
Tienyi is back! YAYEEEEEEEEEE. :D
I love Tienyi la, because the first thing she said when she saw me was "your hair damn nice wei!"
HAHAHA. :DDDDDDD
And this also means... no more walking home alone! (well at least from Sheryl's house anyway)
It has been rather sad this past week. :D
msK is still not in school, and this is seriously worrying.
We only have one week left of school!!!
Language analysis? ):
Everybody seems so happy that she's not here (Its kinda mean anyway. I mean, she's not exactly that bad. I don't know why everybody hates her. She does seem abit, er, hatable sometimes but compared to msA she is SO MUCH MORE lovable. LOL.) but they do not realise that with everyday she's not here, every lesson that we're missing, our potential grades for English Exam is dropping!
I think I rather face her lessons than fail my exam.
Don't you think so?
And in today alone, I have heard three different stories as to what has happened to her.
I mean, seriously?
Where do all these come from??

Quizzes and such
Today was such a productive day!
Before anything, I have a set of very interesting questions to amuse everyone with!
We got it during mentoring today.
So here we go!
Have fun answering!
(LOL I just tested Cheryl with the first one and it was so fun!)
Highlight the end of each questions and you can see the answer :D
Anyway, so msK didn't come again today, and we were all sorta getting worried.
She hasn't taught us language analysis yet!!
How were we supposed to write a whole essay for exams when we don't even know what we're supposed to do?
So............... It turns out that the sub for our first period was this english teacher who seemed pretty good, and he taught us the format and template and everything.
He was nice enough to sacrifice his second free period to teach us too! :DDDDDDD
Language analysis is basically very social studies like.
Just find the techniques and fit it into the template, and repeat them again and again in different forms and tada!
A nice long analytical essay!
Tienyi's finally coming back tomorrow!
YAY WE MISSED YOU! :DDDD
I think its probably time for me to start on Chem.
Test tomorrow!!!
Its so annoying laaaaaaaaa.
The teachers are bombarding all of us with last minutes tests and homework and assignments and they still expect us to start revising for the exams.
Its their own fault they made the exams so early, and they're taking it out on us.
We poor little students are the ones suffering because of them!
Okay I'mstarting to panic a good student so I shall stop using the computer!
Study timeeeeeeeeeeee. :DDDD
Before anything, I have a set of very interesting questions to amuse everyone with!
We got it during mentoring today.
So here we go!
1. Some months have 30 days, some months have 31 days. How many months have 28 days?
2. If a doctor gives you 3 pills and tells you to take one pill every half hour, how long would it be before all the pills had been taken?
12
1 hour 3. I went to bed at 8 o'clock in the evening and wound up my clock and set the alarm to sound at 9 o'clock in the morning. How many hours of sleep would I get before being awoken by the alarm?
1 hour4. Divide 30 by half and add ten. What do you get?
5. A farmer has 17 sheep. All but 9 died. How many live sheep were left?
70
9 6. If you only have one match and entered a COLD and DARK room, where there was an oil heater, an oil lamp, and a candle, which would you light first?
The match 7. A man builds a house with four sides of rectangular construction, each side having a southern exposure. A big bear comes along. What colour is the bear?
White 8. Take 2 apples from 3 apples. What do you have?

None. It was Noah
10. If you drove a bus with 43 people on board from Chigago and stopped at Pittsburg to pick up 7 more people and drop off 5 passengers and at Cleveland to drop off 8 passengers and pick up 4 more and eventually arrive at Philedelphia 20 hours later, what's the name of the driver?
Whatever your name is. You're the driver aren't you?
Okay I'm
Study timeeeeeeeeeeee. :DDDD

Misery loves company
I found out today that.......... I'm not the only one getting attacked by stupid birds!
WINNIE IS TOO!
She meets that bird practically everyday, so its even worse for her.
And it was so cool, we happened to be talking about walking to school, and she was saying that it was horrible because she gets attacked by this bird.
And I was like ME TOO ME TOO!
We then sort or realised that it was the exact kind of bird (We had the same description. The bird was abit of brownish-black in colour) and had the exact mode of... attacking.
HURRAY! *jumps up and starts dancing*
I AM NOT ALONE.
People find it hard to believe when I tell them I get attacked by birds, so now, finally, someone understands. And sympathises. LOL. :D
OMG.
Melody just told me that her mum saw on the news about this girl getting her eye poked out by some magpie.
OMGGGGGGGGGGGG.
omgomgomgomgomg.
I LOVE MY EYES.
PLEASE DON'T POKE MY EYES OUT.
(Or anything else for that matter. I love my hair too.)
It'd be nice if the stupid breeding season is over.
Time's up.
STOP. BREEDING.
Urgh.

Teachers are so annoying
Today's post is just to enforce my insistence that I'm not on hiatus.
And also. Irene declared her overwhelming faith in me, which pretty much threw my determination to not blog, down the drain.
See, Irene, its all your fault. :D
I have something to interesting to share today anyway.
Chem prac today.
So we did this experiment where we had to react magnesium ribbons and HCL together.
Obviously, when you put them together, the resulting liquid you would get is MgCl.
Mg + HCl → MgCl2 + H2
So after we have recorded our results and everything, someone went over to msA and enquired

"So... When do we throw this liquid (MgCl2)?"
And you know what she answered?? What she answered?
"Oh... Put it back into the HCL bottle."
Er, WHAT?!
IS SHE MAD?!
HELLO.
MgCl ≠ HCl
And you know what she answered?? What she answered?

HELLO.
MgCl ≠ HCl
Does she not realise that there was actually unused pure HCl remaining in the bottle?
Does she not realise that if we put it back in, the MgCl will mix with the remaining HCl, thus contaminating the HCl?
Does she not realise that other classes might be using this "HCl" in the bottle for their experiments?
Does she not realise that this would result in a total waste of resources and effort put in to make this HCl solution?
Does she not realise that no sane or competent teacher will ever suggest doing such a thing?!
I'm like, super pissed la.
I can't believe it.
Seriously, how the hell did she get to be a bloody teacher?
This is so. Sickening.

Hiatus. (Or not)
With exams in 2 weeks, I feel like I should stop blogging.
The right thing to do would be to announce (sadly) that this blog shall be on hiatus until said exams are over.
But we all know that's not possible, because I think I'll die if I don't use the computer for 4 whole weeks.
Yes, sad, but it has come to this stage.
Whatever happened to all those times when I didn't even have much inclination to use the computer at all?
Those times when I announce to people that I don't use the computer at all, and laugh at their incredulous faces.
They thought I was mad.
So they asked me what I did during my free time if I didn't use the computer.
And I didn't know the answer.
Kinda depressing, but really, I didn't know what on earth I did with all the time in my hands.
LOL.
Anyway, as I was saying, I can't don't blog!
What with such interesting events coming up, like Tienyi finally coming back, YihRue and Sheryls' birthdays etc. etc.
Right? :D
So conclusion: I won't. I won't announce that I'm on hiatus. Because I won't be. HAHAHA.
Exams shouldn't deter me right!!
I know I have great time management. I really do. *nods convincingly* :D
Oh, I guess I don't really have to explain the reason for this rather pointless post. It starts with P. And ends with N. :/
Though, I have started studying Chem. The process is still slow, but indeed, I have started.

Such wonderful creatures aren't they?
I'm feeling rather contended now because I have just cleaned my room!
Its like, the biggest achievement ever because for quite a while, my mum has been saying (and I quote) that my room looks like a "rubbish dump".
Um, harsh.
So I started with vacuumming the room, after which, looking at the super clean floor, I felt all the more inspired to continue sorting out the room!
And viola! CLEAN ROOM!
(Though I shouldn't really be contended and pleased with myself because it was probably my subconscious mind procrastinating and delaying the time when I have to finally sit down and start revising for the exams which are in 2 freaking weeks!)
Remember the bird which all but attacked me last week?
My dad told me this morning that apparently, this period of time, September to November (Spring) is the breeding season for magpies and during this period, they are exceptionally agressive.
Which made me rather wary of meeting that bird again today.
But of course, something you dread ALWAYS happens.
Its just some twisted logic of life.
I was really worried as I walked down to the scene of attack/crime from last week, and suddenly I seemed to be seeing birds everywhere.
Black and white birds. (Magpies are black and white in colour)
And my heart stopped everytime I caught sight of one flying around.
And the moment I reached the exact same area, I almost jumped out of my skin and died of a bloody heart attack when I heard that all too familiar sound.
As expected, it swooped down on me but I WAS CLEVER AND HAD THOUGHT IN ADVANCE TO WEAR A CAP FOR PROTECTION! (You know, in case it decides that my head was very edible/dangerous and starts pecking my hair off.)
I really wonder how all those people live in those houses.
Really, I feel deeply sorry for them.
So for some morbid reason, I decided to check it out on Wikipedia, and see what its bloody problem was.
Looking at the picture, I'm not really sure if it's really the same bird that I met, because it looks nice and pretty in the Wikipedia article.
Anyway, I'm assuming it is a magpie, and so I read on, and found this:
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.
I think I almost died of laughter.
Well, until the point I realised I'm going to have to endure this until NOVEMBER.
I think I'll forever live in fear of birds. ):

In country areas the bird, owing to persecution, is often shy, but in
suburban areas it is common. Indeed, where it is not molested it courts rather
than avoids the vicinity of humans. Also, it is known to team up in bands of two
or more to "tease" cats, i.e. launch feigned attacks on the animals, perhaps as
a general reaction against the cat as predator and egg thief.
The mating takes place in spring. In the courtship display, the males
rapidly raise and depress their head feathers, uplift, open and close their
tails like fans, and call in soft tones quite distinct from their usual chatter.
In the display the loose feathers of the flanks are brought over and the
primaries, and the patch on the shoulders is spread so as to make the white
conspicuous, presumably to attract the female eye. Short buoyant flights and
chases are part of the courtship.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.
I think I almost died of laughter.

Rebellion in the ranks
This is soooooooooo cool!!
Shireen and I are currently in Health class, searching and finding very useful information about healthcare in Australia.
Of course, WE ARE.
We're just practicing this very-hard-to-master skill called multitasking, where we save alot of time by performing a multiple number of tasks at a certain time.
Its rather thrilling really, what with making sure that we're not typing too loud (the class is rather quiet, and we're the only ones actualy typing continously) and that msS does not see that we're not really being very fascinated by the wonderful healthcare system in Australia, but instead by our own blogs etc. etc.
I just found out today that I'll be having.......... (drum roll) FIVE TESTS IN TWO DAYS NEXT WEEK!
So exciting!
Talking about tests, I'll be taking methods test later, and you know what?
Some people have already taken it and are telling other people the EXACT questions that came out, answers and all.
Now, that is not really fair is it?
People (like me) slog the entire night (okay maybe I happily slept at 11pm last night but that's not the point) and there they are, potentially getting full marks without much hardwork.
Its annoying really.
(Blogging in class is really fun! I shall continue.)
And, today is.......... MELODY'S BIRTHDAY!
HAPPPPPPPPPPPPPY BIRTHDAY MELODY!
You should be so honoured.
I am risking getting kicked out of class, just to post this for you. :D
I intended to blog with at least some pictures, but since I'm at school, that'll have to wait till I reach home!
Okay you can all look forward to seeing Melody's face plastered all over my blog later.
Till later then. (:
[Edit]
I kinda realised that... I don't really have that many photos of Melody. *cough*
And of course, I'm toolazy nice to steal them all from her Facebook.
So this is what I shall post!

Paper hearts made with LOVE from Tienyi, Sheryl and Lynn!
Happy birthday! :DDDDDDDD

Of screenshots and random musings
Just when I thought our school seemed weirdly trouble free, I had to see for my own eyes all the bad sides.
Ahhh.
ANYWAY, Cheryl taught me how to take screen shots yesterday!
I love screenshots. HEHEEE.
They are such... bloggable pictures.
For example, we were playing MSN reversi today, and a screenshot would be very useful in showing everyone my glorious victory, as such:

I am white, obviously. :DDDD
The English orals finally finished today.
If I have to hear another speech narrating the plot of Triage, the trauma Mark faced, the guilt Mark held for causing Colin's death, Post Traumatic Stress Syndrome (oh yes, PTSD. Hearing it about 100 times is enough to cause me PTSD), I think I'm gonna kill myself.
Though, it was really amusing to watch everyone stand nervously in front of the class, hold their cue cards with shaking hands (subtle, but still evident), stumbling occasionally on their well prepared speeches.
It just shows that we were all human.
No matter how confident we looked, how much we prepared, the scary element was still there.
Its just a matter of how well we hide it, and giving it our best shot. (:
Took a trip down memory lane recently.
Bittersweet.

Joy to the world.
Sooooooooooo good that its over in the first lesson, so don't have to worry about it anymore!
Now, I can look forward to the next few lessons in peace.

I miss smsing you.

Random
For the first time ever, I didn't spend my last day of holiday rushing homework.
The only thing I did today was to write my cue cards for English. (:
The more I think about tomorrow, the more I panic.
How on earth am I going to act like I'm in pain!!!
I am so not the drama type.
HA I'm freaking out for the acting even more than for my own speech.
Was just sort of packing my bag, and realised that practically my whole pencil case is filled with Uniball pens.
Not only Uniball pens in general, but specifically the 0.38 ones.
I look like some freak who uses only and ONLY a particular pen of a particular brand. LOL.
For the record, I'm not usually that brand conscious really. (:
Just for general interest, daylight saving just started today, so now the time difference between Singapore and Australia has increased to 3 hours. ):
Its so weird to see the sun only setting at 8. -.-

The effects of an extensive amount of homework
AND I HAVE MEMORISED MY ENGLISH SPEECH!!! (sort of anyway. I still have to prepare the cue cards and stuff)
I think I'm becoming uncontrollably addicted to blogging.
This is my 7th post in three days.
(Some people post 7 times in three months)
Ahhhh, the powers of procrastination.
I really prefer blogging so much more to doing homework.
Just called Shireen, where we had a very interesting time discussing about our progress with Operation: HM, or lack thereof really.
And I got roped into acting for Richa's monologue!!
Of course, being the most wonderful person on Earth, I agreed.
Though I have this deep deep fear of standing in front of a class. Or even sitting, for that matter.
Its creepy how everyone stares at you.
But its okay. They will all be staring at Richa. Not me.
And I also had to forewarn her that my acting kinda sucks.
Um, actually it sucks even more than a whirlpool. Maybe a tornado.... ANYWAY. You get the idea.
I suddenly feel like going on a letter sending spree, where I write letters to many many many people and send them out in a, erm, mass sending session.
I mean, how fun would it be to drop one letter after another into the postbox!
(This is what happens when you try, but fail, to rush holiday homework. You go looney.)

Of overwhelming love
What, is it Scare-The-Hell-Out-Of-Lynn week?
It certainly seems so, because I got attacked by a bloody bird today.
DON'T LAUGH. ITS SCARY OKAY.
First I get chased around by two dogs, and now I get chased after by a bird.
I know.
I am. SO LOVED.
They can't resist me, like, at all.
So there I was happily (unknowingly, innocently) delivering my catalogues and suddenly, this %$%#@#%@ bird whooshes past on top of my head.
Looking around, I saw this black/white bird innocently sitting on some tree.
Well, as a normal person, I didn't really think much about it and continued walking.
And it flew on top of my head again, this time with its legs hitting me! (ITS SCARY OKAY)
Guess what, it did that again and again for, not once, not twice but about, oh I don't know, one million times?!?!
It even happily croaks (or whatever you call the ugly sounds that a bird makes) everytime it swoops down on me.
Those dives onto my head must have been so thrilling.
It finally left me alone after a while, but about 20 minutes later, I had to walk past that area again.
I was just thinking that the bird had finally disappeared when, yup you guessed it, it dived onto my head again.
Maybe my head looks like a nest to it, but hello?! A nest doesn't move!
What's with all these stupid territorial animals who attack me when I am doing my job?
Maybe its a sign.
Maybe I should go and buy 4D/Toto/lottery whatever.
I might win a million dollars!
Oh and I met Safeway guy again today.
It was the first time we were meeting face to face and I was thinking if I should just ignore him (I'm not mean! He's my rival afterall) and he happily greeted "Morning!"
Which made me rather guilty for having all those evil thoughts about him (like him losing Safeway as a customer etc etc. You can't blame me for being bitter about not getting Coles catalogues anymore)
So now we have an understanding!
We are bothmiserable happy people who wake up early in the morning every Saturday to deliver catalogues. (:
I wonder if he got attacked by the bird too.
Anyway, Operation HM was quite a success yesterday because I have......
1) Written finish English speech (FINALLY)
2) Completed Health research (sort of)
3) Completed the bio worksheets (again, sort of.)
4) Completed bio glossary (YAY)
5) Half memorised English speech
in one day!
Much more than planned!
Am I brilliant or what? :D

Operation: HM
I FINISHED BIO REVIEW QUESTIONS YESTERDAY!
YAY ME!
Okay so I still have the glossary and worksheets, but geez, allow me to celebrate for a bit. :D
I'm seriously going to do the speech today. And of course all the other homework.
REALLY.
Because, I'm not turning on my computer at all!
No computer = No temptation = Work done!
I have it all planned out.
After posting this, I will start on the speech. Then, I can do Health (the easiest, albeit most time consuming and tiring one). After that.. we shall see. :D
Oh no.
I just realised that I NEED THE COMPUTER ON to do English and Health.
I swear I didn't intentionally plan to do those homework knowing that I need the computer. ):
Nevermind.
I know my willpower can take it. I will not end up slacking away!
(Homework Marathon is SO FUN!)

Last but not least....
I'm like, beaming now because..... Jy/Zh/Dy's present arrived today!! :DDDDDDD
For some reason, I forgot to open the letterbox today, and because of that, it had sat in my letterbox for FIVE hours without my knowing! ):
I could have experienced the joy earlier. Heh.
It might have been belated... erm. two weeks but its okay! :D
Its the thought that counts right right right!
And guess what it contained...........................
0.28 pens!

LOL kinda sad when the whole world knows about your kinda-weird-and-not-so-secret obsession with super thin/colour pens.
(Random: Look at the background! I'm doing Bio homework okay! :)
And it had nice long letter from each of them.
YAY I LOVE LETTERS.
They are so... romantic?
LOL.

OMG I love you guys la!!
Thank you Jianyun, Zihui and Deyong! :DDDDDDDDDD
Zh's letter was... uncommon, because she wrote it all in chinese!
I was kinda worried when I saw the whole page of chinese words, but I perservered and managed to read without any problem!
HEH HEH my chinese still not that bad okay.
(Though I have a feeling that she wrote it in rather simple chinese for fear that I would not understand what she was talking about.)
But... Dy said he sent a ketchain to replace the one that broke... but I see no keychain!! ))):
It didn't drop out right? ):

Yet another holiday homework spree
Its really funny how the first week of holidays can drag out, and the second week whizzes past without you even knowing.
I can distinctly remember how it felt last week.
The holidays seemed so long.
And the thought of school reopening was so distant.
I really can't find any motivation to do the English speech, like, AT ALL.
I know, I know.
I must be mad to still sound so calm when I only have three days to write out my speech, memorise it and say it out fluently like I've been practising it the whole holiday.
msK would probably get a heart attack and die if she finds out that I have not evenwritten completed my speech.
I really hate myself.
Why can't I just be a normal hardworking student, sit down and complete all the homework in one shot, and spare myself the misery of sunday night?
Because I know, Sunday's gonna be horrible.

A thrilling first
Have you ever been chased by a dog before?
Well.
I was lucky enough to get my first experience today, being chased by not one, but two dogs.
I must say it was very thrilling.
Must as I love adrenaline, this is really too much.
There I was happily sending newspapers (I was helping my brother since its the holidays) and suddenly, these two big and mighty dogs ran out of some random house and came directly at me.
Okay so they weren't exactly big.
They were.. small.
BUT STILL.
The smallest dogs are the worst.
I'm serious, it was horrifying.
One of them literally sprinted at me barking and barking and barking.
I kinda thought one of my limbs were gonna get chomped off and I'll live a cripple my whole life.
So I froze (HA I'm not stupid enough to run away) and it stopped too.
And stared at me.
Then it started running around me.
Round and round and round.
And it stopped.
So I walked.
Then it ran at me again.
Then I stopped.
And the cycle goes on and on.
It freaking followed me for about 10+++ houses.
The other one follwed too, but it was small and didn't bark, so I didn't bother about it.
It was the running and barking one that scared me.
Stupid owners who don't keep their agressive dogs chained and gated behind about, I don't know, ten doors will one day get sued for causing trauma, loss of limbs, or possibly death from being eaten up by their equally stupid dogs.
Then they will know.
Innocent walkers who are actually being such kind souls by dilligently delivering newspapers every week do not deserve such treatment.
Humph.
