ytd band practice. decided that we're going to buy the trombone pins.. although like for me i'll only get to wear it once on syf and thats it.. but since the rest are buying i also buy lo. haha. actually i also dun really mind la. haha.


so i'll have to go and buy them on saturday on my own. since the two boys wun go and buy and vanessa isnt free.. collected the money from aloisius and vanessa after band. then after that walked to the bus stop with her.. :)

hmm. met juchi on the bus home today. haha. so coincidental. i'd just msged her this morning about the syf and then saw her on the bus the same day.. her eyes like became so wide when she saw me la.. haha. so shocking to see me..? :)


tmr the obs ppl coming back le. yay. =)

went to school ytd with SPARKLING white shoes. wahahaha.. feel so weird la. the shoes like so new..

then someone [cant rmb who, think sab] was like saying my shoes like glowing. haha. too white le.

lucky no one come step. or else i'd have killed that person :)

i feel kind of sadistic.

my mum recorded some parts [two very short clips] of the concert on her phone and just happened to record that part.


i cant help but just keep listening to it again and again...

so its finally over.


atmosphere was kind of tense before the concert. guess everyone was nervous..

hmm.

wanna say a big thank you to all the teachers and mr goh for.. giving us all this opportunity..

thank you to all the seniors and everyone who came and supported us.

thank you to simin and richalynn for the gifts. :)


dun really know how to describe how i feel.. been already two days since but i still feel really bad.. fustrated..

all in all.. it was a good experience for us..

actually was gonna post ytd but computer hanged and i had to restart the computer, which made me lose my mood to do so.

woke up today aching all over and feeling really sick. suprising how i slept on the floor for 3 nights and nothing happened and now that i'm back home, i slept on my bed and the next morning i woke up aching.


band camp was fun.


was the dorm i/c again and also in the same dorm as vanessa again. we were in dorm 1, which is in 3T1. its like the nearest classroom to the toilets so kind of good in a way. but the sad news was that 3T1's windows were like half gone. so like even if you closed all the windows there were still many gaps where everyone walking past could look inside. what was worse was that since the shutters on the guys' side was closed, every single person had to walk past my dorm to go to the toilets.

felt like i was in a zoo.. with everyone looking in.

hmm. so the first two days were the intensive practice for the concert. haha. bryant went kind of crazy the first night. blasted like so loud can. until mr goh said we 7 trombones sounded like 14 trombones. and the last time he heard a trombone section so loud was dunno how many years ago. haha.

shuming playing in concert with us. yay! haha. he so nice. bought us all drinks the second night. haha. richalynn also came back! whee. :)

haha. okay so the sec ones came the third day. all so quiet one. not fun. played games with them all. after that nothing much. had a two hour break where we could do anything we want. first time camp got so long a break. hehe.

then that night had sectionals. all five of us were quite high that night. dunno why.. okay la. so deyong wasnt that high. but vanessa bryant aloisius and me were like.. haha. can ask richalynn how it was like. she saw everything la. so noisy. tsk. bryant was like saying he had spiked the drinks that night thats why we were all kind of crazy.. haha. in the end dy had to threaten us to keep quiet with ___ . haha. amazing how we quietened down so fast at the mention of that. :)

then that night had showtime. haha. the girls all combined into one group and the guys also combined. then we presented and after that there was quite bit of time left so fazee told us to play the game of stoytelling where anyone could just continue the story. lots of sabotage... :)

i realised something about the camp. we ate chicken wings for almost every meal la. in fact we ate chicken for every meal, except for one.

okay then last day in the morning we formed the word "band" by lying on the carpark, so that ms ngiam could take a photo from the studio. there were too many people so my group ended up forming the exclaimation mark. haha.

oh. and also we overheard someone saying "i think trombone section very weird" haha.

i see.

then to end off the camp, we all danced the chicken dance.


haha. band camp tradition. :)

so fast. term 1 is over.


common test results. i love my humans! wahahaha. =D and i passed my chinese. whee. haha. but cannot be contented. must be greedy. must aim higher :)

speaking of chinese.. had chinese oral on monday. haha. so unlucky can. last year my register number was 14 and i was the second last. this year my number change to 25 already still i'm the second last.

its kind of stressful you know. like just sitting there watching people go off one by one. watching the hall emptying.

Mr Siah test me again this year. and again this time he also had to tell me to calm down. dun so nervous. haha =)


hmm.


tmr band camp le. hmm. feels like very long never go camp le. 4 days like kind of long..


but. i still look forward to it. hehe. my last camp leh!

finally the common test week is gonna be over.

so sad la. just when its about to end, the flu bug caught me :( *sniff*

was like "crying" today in school during the lessons. really hope that my running nose becomes better tmr in time for the maths ct. coz like can you just imagine drawing all the loci and the constructions while sniffing and sniffing? somemore like the whole class would be so quiet and i would be the only one there sniffing my nose away. *sniff*


i kind of accidently broke my ruler during the hummanities paper. haha. stupid right?

had 5 minutes left before the paper was supposed to end and i was like playing with the ruler like bending it back and forth and suddenly. it broke in half.
