went for band again today.
me and yc reached first, and yc went to join her section for sectionals.
i didn't want to go join the band alone - so extra - so waited for dy and jy to come.
joined the band during their break, saw that at least today vanessa wasn't playing solo.
haha. gloria and aloisius were there too.
hmm.
nothing much, played i think Within These Hallowed Halls or something like that.
well, got to play a new song at least and got to sightread.
although not much running notes.
if only mr goh had played tchaikovsky's greatest hits, or happy birthday around the world.
that would have been been fun. (:
band ended early, and lahari came just before it ended.
haha.
hee. dy gave me my christmas card! yay yay yay! (:
reading it made me feel so.. happy, and sad too. :(

went to west mall.
long time never go le.
couldn't decide where to eat and jy said we shall go sakae.
zihui came to join us too.
oh! and junjie works at sakae!
hahahaha.
and he served us a few times.
we asked if he can give us staff discount, he don't want answer. :(
haha.
somehow, all of us felt full after eating only abit.
for the first time ever, dy said he was very full after eating one bowl of rice.
thats like a miracle!

later went to arcade, and dy and lahari played some two-player games.
omg lahari drive so scary, while dy seemed to do so so calmly compared to her.
watching lahari play is... entertaining. :D


ahh. i keep forgetting to return jy's shoes to her.
lahari had gave them to me to pass to her because she thought i would remember better and would meet her more.
yes i have met her alot of times.
but i keep forgetting.
so the last time i'll be seeing her is on sunday so if i forget again, i'm so sorry, not gonna send it over for her. :P

just came back from watching National Treasure with my family - my mum, brother, aunty, uncle and grandma. (:
its nice nice nice!
lol.
i don't understand why 8days only gave it two and a half stars.
i find it easier to understand than Golden Compass.... and it has no talking animals! :D

oh yesterday i went to the library to return the books i've borrowed.
i really really intended to just return them and leave.
but i couldn't resist and went into the library.
haha.
and of course i ended up borrowing another two, no surprise.
but i don't think i'd be able to finish both on time. :(
sad, i really wanted to read them.
they seem so nice!

today the refrigerator is gone from my house.
haha.
so the only main big electrical appliance left in my house is the washing machine.
three days. :(

back from chalet! (:
long, detailed post. :P

monday
supposed to meet jy, yc and dy at imm at 1pm to get the food first.
so i took 188 with yc and we reached on time.
when we reached, jy was still at home.
so we went ahead and chose whatever food we wanted first.
haha.
and the other two finally came an hour later.
bought the food, waited an eternity for the shuttle bus and when it finally came, it was driving so so SO slowly.
lol.
in the end we decided to take taxi from je directly to the chalet.

so the chalet was at HomeTeamNS at sembawang.
it was at some ulu place which has such weird and confusing bus services.
almost everyone got lost on their way there.
haha.
checked in.
imagine our shock when we entered the room.
it was like so tiny!
dy said it looked more like a hotel room - a lower class one.
haha.
after a while kerby and youngmin finally came, soaking wet.
not surprising.
they'd lost their way.
haha.

so we prepared the food for steamboat in the toilet.
lol.
well, there was no other sink!
so everything we ate that night was really healthy.
it was all boiled.
ha.
then zh came and since we had nothing to do, we watched tv.
the channel 8 show at 9pm.
i was so diappointed with the storyline.
Li Nanxing (the father) killed himself and his son grew up to be acted by Li Nanxing again.
just as what dy predicted.
i had insisted that would not happen, that Li Nanxins (the father) won;'t kill himself but he did.
so depressing. :(

later youngmin had to go home and lahari also came.
jy, zh, kb and dy played mahjong.
me and yc and lahari played snap with uno cards.
hahaha.
hilarious. :D
dy, kb and jy fell asleep while waiting for zh to finish talking on the phone.
and yc tried to take a photo of dy sleeping.
she disabled the flash but somehow, the red light from the camera made him suddenly wake up and he sat up, looked around and then went back to sleep.
later when we asked him, he said he don't remember waking up at all.
instead, he says he only remember waking up and going to the toilet, which he didn't.
we know, since we were awake the whole time.
lol. :D

we all finally slept at 1.
though it wasn't a peaceful one.
there was this "hole" in the wall and we could hear the people next door talking and laughing loudly.
they did not sleep the whole night la.
so noisy. :(

tuesday
we all woke up and had nothing to eat for breakfast.
well, there was bread and tuna but none of us felt like eating that.
so we went to Sun Plaza, zh went to work.
ate kfc as our breakfast/lunch.
decided to watch The Golden Compass.
actually i didn't really want to watch because the animals talk.
other than cartoons, i don't really like movies with animals that talk.
i just find it disturbing.
but i compromised.
there was nothing else to do. haha. :D

there was practically no one else in the cinema with us.
when we went in the only light in it was red and there was only one person sitting inside.
haha.
so scary. haha.
after that another two girls came and that was it.
the movie was okay, although abit confusing in the beginning.
and it didn't have an actual ending, since its a trilogy.
almost tripped down the stairs while exiting the cinema.
it was so dark!
then went to ntuc, bought some food for the bbq.

lahari, kerby and deyong went to swim.
the swimming pool's deepest end is 3m!
after that vanessa, narita and jiaying came.
they were the only ones who seemed to come to the chalet so easily.
then zh and wengrong also came back from work.
richalynn was lost, so dy went to fetch her.
and kb went to fetch simin and kailing.
we tried to start the bbq with the ready-made bbq "pit' we bought from Giant.
it was useless.
so when richalynn finally came with the charcoal, we tried to start the fire but, er, we failed.
in the end we had to ask for help from somebody from the neighbouring bbq pit.
even he couldn't so he let us use his since they had already finished.
his fire was so nice la!
it was so hot that the food all got cooked so quickly and some even got burnt. :P
yc, lahari and me left around 10+, which was already very late, so we took taxi.
lahari kept saying she was so gonna be "roasted" by her mother.
yc too.
haha.

really enjoyed myself.
although it was not what we all expected - it was so small and ulu - but the main thing was that we all spent time together and had fun.

today met with annabel for lunch since she'll be flying off for her holiday tmr and she wanted to meet me before i go.
jy, simin, kailing and annette joined us.
went to pizza hut at lot 1.

will be going for band on friday.
seems like quite a few other seniors will also be going.
looking forward to that! (:

my com at home has officially died.
it just switched off suddenly a few days ago while my mum was using it.
lol.
so now i'm using the laptop at my aunt's house.
hehe.
so in this case, i might not be updating anymore for quite a while. (:

ytd went to school during the band practice.
met up with zh and yc to go together.
we met mr goh just as we were walking into the school then he was like good that we came coz there were very little trombones and clarinets ytd.
haha.
so i finally got to see my husband after 5 months!
hehehe.
its still so shiny!
haha.
then after a while richalynn and fadly also came.
mr goh took out Go West.
i rmb vagely that we played that before long long time ago when i was sec2.
not bad la.
hee.
then later played Tchaikovsky's Greatest Hits. :D
i love that song la.
especially the last part when we play like super fast is very fun.
coz like there's one part where we play chromatically down the scale in triplets.
so the positions were something like 1-2-3, 4-5-6, 7-1-2, 3-5-6.
and since the tempo so fast we practically just slide the, er, slide down continuously.
haha.
trombonists always love chromatic scales! :D
ya then i was waiting and waiting to play that part and mr goh ended the practice before we reached there. :(
all my waiting in vain. :(

found out something about _.
somehow that kinda seemed to explain abit.
now i fell kinda guilty for everything we said about _. :(

then after the practice, me and yc met with lahari and went to suntec for the bookfest.
ahh.
seeing so so so many books is so tempting la.
i wanted to buy all of them off the shelves. :(
yc bought alot of chinese books and lahari bought a GP essay book.
lol.
then we browsed around, then walked around suntec.
omg suntec is like so huge la.
each individual shop by itself is already so big la.
but the design of suntec is horrible.
walked until we were so tired.
then still had to walk city link to reach city hall mrt station.
since it was peak hour, we had to stand for the whole mrt ride. :(
but had an enjoyable day. :D

tmr will be the farewell party at my house.
my mum had invited people over.
then will be going for the chalet on monday. (:

there's something really wrong with my computer.
its so irritating.
this error thing keeps appearing, and when i click ok, it causes everything to disappear.
first the internet was down, now the computer is close to dying too. :(
just as well, since we're leaving so soon, there's no need to go to the trouble of repairing it anymore.

went out with richalynn, simin, aloisius and bryant today.
lol.
kinda weird.
coz dy was actually supposed to come but he totally forgot about it and did not apply for leave from his job.
i only knew about that like ytd so it was already too late. :(
so we went to pizza hut, ate and literally walked around the third and second floor of jp.
kind of floated around.
then bryant suggested that since we have nothing to do why not go find dy at his workplace.
like lol.
apparently, as he later clarifies, it was actually supposed to be a joke, but since we had nothing better to do, we really went.
haha.
simin had something on so she could not join us.
so the four of us took mrt to city hall, walked to marina square.
dy was working at the golden village there.
its not like we were disturbing him.
coz when we reached he wasn't even promoting the gift cards he's supposed to promote.
he was just standing there and talking to wengrong, who was working with him.
we chatted with him and stuffs.
then took a really long time to decide whether to watch a movie or to go home.
tried to persuade dy to treat us all to a movie but he refused coz he has no money. :(
haha.
and anyway out of all the movies they were showing, only golden compass, hero and enchanted were rated PG.
haha.
the two guys were not 16 yet~
we were almost going to watch the golden compass but in the end decided not to coz it might have ended quite late.
so we went home.
haha.
yeah and on the mrt ride home, we just happened to be talking about results and stuff.
and richalynn asked them how were theirs and they were like "okay lor."
that from someone who's second in level.

everyone seems to be working.
or going on some holiday.
this is so depressing.

i was like out for the whole day yesterday.
went with my mum for some lunch thing with her interpreter friends.
they'd invited us for some indian buffet near city hall.
the food was not bad, and there was also live music.
lol.
there were 14 of us but somehow the waiter counted wrongly the number of people and only charged us for 12 people.
haha.
after that went to bugis and cityhall robinsons to look around, killing time before we head over to my mum's uncle's house, where we were going to have dinner. (:
finally reached home at about 11+
so i was like out and walking around for almost 12 hours.

on friday the mover people had already come over to take our boxes for shipping.
and today some people will be coming over to collect some of the furniture that my mum is giving away.
like two tables, two cabinets, a few bed frames and a freezer.
those are most of the more bulky items we have left in our house so after today, my house is really empty already.
and it would be time to start the thorough cleaning of the house for the next owners.
sigh. :(

my phone is like mad.
not too long ago water went into my phone, so i had no choice but to use a spare phone i had at home.
now even that phone is like spoilt.
there's like something wrong with the freaking battery.
i can like charge it to full, and it works perfectly fine when i use it to sms and stuff.
but the moment i use it for a call, it claims "battery empty" and switches off barely a few seconds after i've started talking.
and when i switch it on again, the battery had miraculously refilled itself!
which is so irritating.

the internet at home has been down for the past three days.
now its finally okay.
we have to use firefox instead of internet explorernow though. :D
but now that the internet's back, i already forgot everything that i've wanted to blog about.
lol.

hmm.
went out with cheryl on wednesday.
she was going to lot 1 with her cousin to take neoprints and asked me if i wanted to meet her after that.
so after they took the neoprints, we went to watch enchanted~ :D
its like so nice la.
so the ending is abit exaggerated, when they were fighting the dragon but the story's really sweet.

i mean, my degree went up abit [of course after about 3 years its bound to increase..] but the lens in the new pair is even thinner than my old pair. (:
the thinness of the lens appeals to me coz if it were the original thickness, i'll be so horrified that i'd never step out of my house wearing it.
hehe.
that just tells you how high my degree is. :P

spent away alot of my free smses ytd to help arrange a suitable date for our section outing.
and i almost went crazy coz richalynn's and alloy's schedules seem to clash horribly, or rather, not clash.
as in when richalynn's free, alloy isn't. when alloy's free, richalynn isn't.
really really tried to make the date after vv comes back from obs, but it was very diffcult to.. so in the end we had to settle for 10th, which is the day that she comes back.
but i don't think she'll have any energy left to join us. :(

went out early in the morning today with my mum and bro again.
today's already one of the last few days that we can use the car.
the new owner will be collecting it from us on wed. :(
anyway, i was around city hall, near the padang and realised there was this standard chartered marathon going on.
first time i ever saw a marathon before.
lol.
and i was standing near the finishing line.
so the atmosphere there was so nice, so... motivating to see all the runners reaching the FINISH line happily.
i even saw this person on the wheelchair, those type specially made for sports events.
when she was reaching the finish line everone started cheering her on.
felt so happy for her. hehe.

i went to admiralty market in the morning with my mum.
her friend owns the 7-eleven there and we went there to meet her.
and she gave us a few receipts from her shop so that we could go and play this game.
its like there's this promotion period where we can show the person a receipt from any of the shops frm the market and they'll let us throw a mini basketball into the hoop three times.
for today, if the ball went in all three times, we would get a packet of rice.
if it went in two times, we would get a packet of coffee.
so me and mum went to play for fun lo.
haha.
and we won three packets of rice and a packet of coffee! :D
although they were really heavy to carry home.

and guess who i met while queuing up for the game.
the uncle from our school canteen, the purple plate stall!! :D
i didn't see him, but he saw me and came to say hi.
haha. he remembered me!!
haha. i sound so excited.
but no suprise that he remembers la, coz for the second half of this year, i ate from his stall like practically everyday.
anyway, so he was like i live nearby is it.
i said no then he ask me then what was i doing there.
haha.
he goes on to tell me that he lives nearby, near the admiralty mrt station.
actually like that he has to travel quite far to school lo..
ahh. i miss eating from his stall.
