omg the weather today is freezing.
the weather forecast that i saw said it was going to be 9-12degrees.
but when i met yih rue, she said the one that she saw said that it would be 6-8degrees.
and the most hilarious part is that, shireen said that the weather forecast that she apparently saw said it was going to be 25-29degrees, which was impossible.
anyway, the temperature now is 13degrees.
so none of us are right.
HAHAHA.

i'm thinking maybe i want to find a job.
i was looking at my brother's uni application and there was actually a part where he is supposed to fill in his job experience.
when the time when i fill in my application comes, i don't think its going to be very impressive if its blank.
or at least, close to blank.
i have only ever worked once in my life, and it was at bata. i shall ignore the fact that the number of days i actually worked there was a grand total of two.
if i'm going to get job experience, i think it would be better if its now, rather then next year. (:

i realised i hardly blogged on weekends.
most of my posts are on weekdays, and about school.

today, i recevied an email from deborah that says "PERSONALITY TEST" but i can't open it.
everytime i try to open it, internet explorer will occur a problem and the whole window will close. ):
that is such a pity coz i love to take that kind of quizzes just for the fun of it.
and furthermore, this is the first email in days that i receive from a person i actually know.
kind of a far cry from not very long ago when i was receiving an email from alloy practically everyday.
lol. xD
recently, the only "emails" i get are from the UK lottery, telling me that i won something. -.-
junk mail obviously.
if i really got the money that they claim that i had won, i must be a millionare by now.

i finally got my table today too.
now i can sit on a chair when i use the com.
haha.
what's more, its DIY!
my dad bought the wood and made the table himself. :D

just went for the parent-teacher meeting.

all three that i went to said i should speak more in class.
the first appointment was actually health, but we were caught in a traffic jam so by the time we reached school, it was already time for the second appointment.
so we went to the bio one first.
she was kinda nice, thought she just had to return me that prac today.
of all days, she decided that today will be a very nice day to do so.

next was chem.
heee tyty she said i was a very good student! :D
but she said i don't talk much in class and asked whether it was because my english wasn't good.
other than that, it was okay.
after that went to health, and saw that she was still there, so we went in to talk to her.
like dots la.
at least the other teachers had their record books-or whatever you call that book where they record all their student's marks-in front of them.
the moment we sat down, she asked "so what problems do you have?"
i was like huh?
and then she asked me what grade i got for the first outcome and how i was doing.
erm, hello, i thought she was the teacher and i was the student.
she should know!!
i should have taken the chance to remind her that she haven't even returned us our first outcome, which we took like eons ago.
but i didn't.


ooh random fact: i found out today that msP's sister had lived in singapore for 10 years before. (:

got school photos today!! :D
heee, its like so cool la.
really different from the photos that i used to get in bbss.
coz last time we had form classes, but here there aren't.
so, we actually get a level photo.

okay so my phone camera quality sucks.
i'm lazy to scan it in, so i just took a photo of it.
obviously, the actual photo isn't that grainy and blur.
*edit: i decided to scan it anyway.
its much clearer now. (:

and. we got individual photos of everyone too. :D
ahahaha.
so now, we can know what everyone's student ID card look like.
and i was joking to irene that now that we have the photos of everyone in the level, we can like, go home and analyse all of them and know everyone's names.

i'm just kinda worried that msA will tell them that i "do not work at home or something".
that was so stupid la.
we had chem prac, and we were supposed to use the matches to light the bunsen burner.
and she asked me to do it.
i wasn't really in the habit of striking matches everyday, so obviously i couldn't.
and she was like, "lynn, you don't work at home do you?" in an exasperated voice. ):
she might use matchsticks at home on a regular basis, but i don't.
i mean, who uses matchsticks anymore??
most will use a lighter right!

anyway.
on the way home from school, we stopped by at the video rental store and rented a few movies.
and i just watched finish Bridget Jones's Diary.
i rented it coz an excerpt of the actual book was in the English Resource Book and that time when we were going through it, msS said that it was a nice movie.
so since she said that, i thought it must be not bad. (:

there are so many movies in there that i want to watch la!
can i just stay there for the rest of my life? ):
i saw Freedom Writers there too.
maybe i wanna rent that next time.
its a really nice movie! (:

i have an MGA test tomorrow.
but i don't feel like studying at all.

melbourne aquarium excursion today!
hee.
though i never went there before, it was kinda like what i expected though.
it seemed uncannily like Underwater World at sentosa.
hmmmm.
but the good thing was that there was a guide explaining all the stuff to us, and telling us all sorts of interesting things, which was really cool.
we saw all sorts of fishes, sharks, stingrays, jellyfish (omg they were so cute!), octopus and crabs.
there was this crab called the spider crab and it was so huge.
it looked really like an enourmous spider, hence its name.
anyway, it reminded me of the spiders in harry potter.
hahaha.

i had typed finish a post, and just when i clicked on the publish post button, the internet connection died on me and my whole post disappeared.
argh.
okay so i admit, the post had barely 5 or 6 lines.
but the fact is, it still disappeared.

anyway, so today was chem prac.
as always, it sucked.

oh and finally, they changed our stuffy P block classroom for tuesday's chem lessons to a classroom in the C block.
been enduring that super stuffy room for so long!
so finally, i have a class in a Computer room.
LOL.
its amazing how ALL my classes, except for one, are in the D and S rooms, which is pretty boring coz i kinda revolve around the same building everyday.

i found out today that msK thought that i am an indian.

msA rendered my class speechless today.
and that in itself is already very incredible because my class is never quiet.
she hasn't even taught chpt7, and now she's going to chpt 8.
she just came into the classroom and started writing notes on the board.
so my classmate asked "what chapter is that?"
msA: chapter 8.
classmate: what about chapter 7?
msA: what are you talking about?! i have already spent the whole week teaching chapter7!
we were all like, she did?
yeah right.
how can that be possible when she wasn't even in school for half the week.

funny how we prepared for like, eons and in just that 5 minutes it was over.
at least today half the class was gone for sports and i got to present to lesser people.
if we went according to the numbers, i was supposed to be the 7th person presenting today.
but there were so many people not in school that i ended up being the 2nd.

the feeling of oral being over and not thinking about it anymore is so nice.

true sometimes you do feel like shit when such things happen, when you don't meet your own expectations.
but does it give you any right to tell them that you hate "clever people" like them?
you don't like all your classes because apparently, they are filled with "clever people".
wth.
so you only like classes where you can be the top student.

if you want freakin' straight As, work hard for yourself.
blaming everyone else for doing better than you is not a solution.

first day of school started off rather interestingly.
daylight saving had started yesterday and we had already changed the time of the clock in the living room.
but the thing was, the clock in my parents' room had not been changed yet.
i'm sure anyone can already guess what happened.
my mum woke up in the morning, looked at the clock in her room and saw that the time was already 7.50.
i'm supposed to leave my house at 8.
so naturally, she freaked and woke me up hurriedly and i also freaked and got ready for school at top speed.
then my mum remembered, and we realised that actual time when we woke up was like, 6.50.
HAHAHA.
laughed our heads off.

school itself was okay.
first time i wore the winter uniform.
actually, i don't really see how wearing the "winter" uniform keeps us any more warmer than the summer one.
but anyway, i prefer it so much more than the summer one.

the only thing worse than not doing homework, is not even knowing there was homework.
especially, if i could have had the leisure of two weeks to do it.
i walked into bio class happily, thinking that i had already completed the bio report, all was well.
until the point when msP said that she was going to check our chapter3 review questions.

i had NO idea we were supposed to do them!

just saw the news.
so, having been in my house the whole day, i had underestimated the whole wind thing.
apparently, it was the worst case of stong winds in melbourne in 25 years.
the trains could not even operate because of the winds.
and many trees were uprooted.
i really didn't know it was that bad. ):

was supposed to go and buy the winter uniform today, but got postponed to tomorrow.

my bro went and borrowed dvds, tempting me to watch them too.
though i still have that mountain of work that i have been procrastinating to do still waiting for me.
but i'll watch them anyway. (:

been wanting to watch that for so long.
that time when it was screening, nobody wanted to watch it with me. ):
i remember that time, we did go to the cinema and i was insisting that i wanted to watch that.
but they all disagreed, so we ended up watching.......
shrek the third.
which, frankly, was a waste of money.
1. practically everyone in that cinema were children. really noisy. everything also laugh. very funny meh? tsk.
2. the storyline was so simple, we didn't even know it had ended. LOL. at the closing scene, zh was like, huh that's all??!
3. it lasted a grand total of 90 mins. it was so no fun. not fun at all. [i might add here that the total running time of pirates was like, 3 hours. twice the time of shrek the third.]
4. it was the first time ever that i walked out of the cinema after a movie and didn't feel anything. i didn't even feel like i had watched a movie at all. that's how serious the situation was.

anyway, i digress.

so he borrowed x-men3 too. YAY.
finally i get to finish this series.
spiderman3 too.
yay gonna watch that too.
he said he saw high school musical 2 at the video store.
and he purposely didn't borrow it for me.
meanie. ):

its a really windy day today and apparently, its so windy that he is allowed to knock off from work already.
that's like ...

and he said an old lady died because of the wind.
apparently the wind was so strong that it caused some wall thing to drop onto her and she died.
