OMG IT HAILED! IT HAILED IT HAILED IT HAILED! :D
It wasn't really like, all ice falling, but there were distinct little ice pebbles among all the rain!
And it was so nice okay, I should have danced in the rain. (Which I didn't)
Now I'm waiting for my rainbow to appear.
All the clouds are blocking it though...........

Bits and pieces
HAPPY BIRTHDAY JIAYING! :DDDD
Yay for NC16 movies! (I'm sure you get that alot)
Anyways, my birthday present for you shall be the rundown of how Twilight is.
Although.. Maybe I shouldn't tell you, because it'll just ruin the movie for you!! :)
--
Wes Carr won Australian Idol!
*CHEERS*
Erm, so I didn't exactly watch the series dedicatedly.
In fact, out of the whole season, I only watched one episode, where they all sang Michael Jackson songs, and I like him because he sang the best on that day.
The rest were just blergh.
They were nothing compared to MJ.
So yes, YAY FOR WES! :DDDD
--
Thanks for all the postive response to this skin! :DDDD
I'm happpppy so I shall keep this skin for now.
But I'll have to change it after Christmas anyway.
(Did anyone realise my tagboard is elongated? I love it la! Can see more messages at one glance. :)
I'm feeling really contented with myself because the more I look at the blueey background, the more I like this shade.
And it was the first colour I randomly chose! YAY ME.
--
For some reason, it's starting to feel really festive now, even though there's still about a month left to go. (If anything, this is actually the first time I feel celebratory enough to get a seasonal blogskin!)
It's really nice to go to shopping centres and soak up all the Chrismassy atmosphere!
Everywhere you turn, there'll be Christmas sales going on, and it's really cool! :D
--
Ooooooh I just saw photos of the new BBSS building on Facebook and I have so many things to say I don't know where to start.
It feels really modern though.
I guess its not that bad, but its... totally different from the greeny building we used to have.
It's really interesting to think how different everything can be, even when they are built on the exact same land, around the same group of trees and plants! (The trees and grass area in the middle of the Old Block is still there!)
Even after seeing all those pictures, I still can't visualise the layout of the school!
I really want to go and visit it! ):
OH YES, and they're changing to homeroom system?!?!
OMGOMGOMG.
Why no more staying in classrooooooom! ):
I pity those who would have to climb up and down the 6 storeys. Hehehehehe. :D
--
OHMYGOD I just remembered something really horrifying.
So yesterday, I was mistaken for a guy.
It was probably because I was wearing this humongous jacket since it was so cold and all BUT STILL.
HOW CAN I LOOK LIKE A GUY I HAVE LONGGGGG HAIR. (Okay maybe not that long, but, yeah)
This is so depressing. DDDDDD:

Ooooooh I just saw photos of the new BBSS building on Facebook and I have so many things to say I don't know where to start.
1. The six storey block looks very very very very very very much like a HDB flat from inside. Seriously okay. Even the lift landing looks like HDB.
2. The school hall is hugeeeeee!
3. Can a helicopter actually land on the roof of library block? HAHA no, really, its like, round and everything...... Which leads on to my next point:
4. The library is like, totally reformed from last time?!?! At the very least, it has become.. bigger. Last time the library was about the size of a classroom (its supposed to mean its small by the way).
5. It seems like the whole school was painted pretty much with the same colours: Reddish-brown (duh), beige, and yellow.
6. The "new" block from last time (It'll be called "old block" now?) is also reformed into the three primary colours. No more green. ):
7. HAHA there's a humongous musical note painted on the performing arts block! I didn't see it until I read someone's comment ._.
It feels really modern though.
I guess its not that bad, but its... totally different from the greeny building we used to have.

So yesterday, I was mistaken for a guy.
"So those are your sons?"
"... That's my daughter and son."
"Oh.... Daughter?" *embarassed laugh*

HAHA NEW BLOGSKIN AGAIN!
That was the shortest time a skin has ever lasted on my blog.
I found this and it looked so cute! :D
Then again, who knows, I might just change it again tomorrow. HEH.
I spent like superrrr long editing this okay.
The html almost cost me my hair (I was on the verge of pulling it out in the process).
And the original background was this showflaky thing, which wasn't actually that bad but I think it would have been Christmas Overload, so I removed it. Hehehe.
Almost dinner time, I have nothing to say except that the weather is freezing! (8degreesC in the afternoon! Even colder than winter)
BUT its okay, I love cold weather, I love cold weather, I love cold weather. :D

New beginnings
YAY NEW BLOGSKIN! :DDDDD
As always, I got sick of my skin again.
I don't care, I like this being super plain! (:
Irene gave me the idea to be festive (Go check out her blog! She gave it a makeover!), and I attempted finding a Christmas-themed blogskin, but obviously failed, so I decided to modify a normal skin! Hehe.
OMG I loveeeeee my snoopy la.
HAHAHAHA.
Okay that's all.
Its time I do something productive, like write my cards.

Thoughts of the day
Chem talk today, more than half my subjects down.
I'm getting pretty worried again, I SEEM LIKE THE ONLY PERSON ON EARTH TAKING 5 SUBJECTS.
Everywhere I turn people have either taken Chinese language this year (which would count as a 6th subject), will be taking 6 subjects in school next year or have applied for UNImaths / UNIaccounting / UNIbiology / UNIeverything.
:(
OH YES I saw a car today with a car plate that said "TBONE"!!!
OMG I WANT THAT CAR. :DDDDD
Received Youngmin's letter today, thanks!
AND THE STUPID QUARANTINE OPENED AND INSPECTED MY LETTER AGAIN.
What's their problem okay.
There wasn't even anything remotely suspicious inside.
IT WAS ALL LETTERS.
Is there anything wrong with sending PAPER?
They're probably jealous that I have such nice friends who send me so many letters, but they don't have to open and read every single one.
I should consider suing them for invading privacy. )))))):

My mum bought a box of mangoes (containing 18 of them) for just $8!
YAY MANGOES GALORE!
And they smell niceee too hehehe.
I haven't written a single card today, because Irene happily reminded me that I have 12 more days, which in Lynnspeak is ages more to go.
12 more days still sounds far enough.
More than enough time for me to dily-daly around. (Like tarry, this is another synonym for the P-word! I detest that P-word now. Its too over-used. Much like comic sans.)
Spesh talk today, I like it much more than English.
Well, there were homework, but at least its not like a whole avalanche of work thrown at us out of the blue.
At least we don't have to deal with our very first SAC on our own.
The English department is just mean. (Tienyi, this is cue for you to feel guilty for laughing at me that you're now in ESL and have escaped from the horrors of English. :)
The Year12 finally replied me yesterday after about half a million years, so I just went to collect the textbook from her today.
After all the annoyance these past few days, I am actually quite pleased with her now because initially, she had told me that she'll only be selling me the textbook with neither the CD nor Checkpoints.
But I don't know where she conjured up the CD from, because today she gave me all three for the same price.
Now I have English and Spesh books already!
(At a cheaper price even than the school second-hand book sale)
Was listening to Waves of the Revolution just now and I still love it la! ♥
Hehehehe.

Eloping letters are horrid
We visited Sheryl today! :D
Although it turned out to be at her house.
We intended to visit her at the hospital today, but she was recovering so fast that her doctor allowed her to discharge early, thus ruining our plans. ):
At least, I'm glad she told us.
Imagine if we happily skipped off to the hospital, only to find that she wasn't there anymore.
I think the nurses will laugh their heads off.
So we went to the Glen for a while after that, where we walked into some bookstore to find Shireen's books and OMG ALL THE BOOKS LOOKED SO NEW AND SHINY AND READABLE THAT I WANTED TO GOBBLE THEM ALL UP.
Or maybe I just wanted to buy them, but the point is I WANTED THEM ALL.
Haven't been reading much books for so long, and the library is being majorly horrid by providing such disgusting books which I won't even read if they were the last books on Earth.
Really, they're that horrid.
I really want to buy thousands and thousands of books and bury myself in them.
Well, I might not get to read them seeing that I'll probably suffocate from lack of air, but at least, I'll be buried happily in the middle of all those wonderful books. :D
Oh, and I am very angry because I can't find a letter that I have intended to send since 2 months ago. (Sorry dy, I'll try to continue finding it D: )
Now I can't even send it anymore because it has decided to run off and elope without my knowledge.
(Okay its my fault I didn't send it out immediately, and insisted on tarrying for about 2 months, but I SWEAR I kept it in my file so that I could find it easily when finally got around to buying some stamps, but NOW IT IS GONE)
DDDDD:
I have lost all mood to write my cards already.
HMPH.
PS. I just HAVE to mention this. it has been confirmed that (Thanks loads to Bhav for telling us about this screening and Melody for helping me book the tickets! Hehe) I'll be WATCHING TWILIGHT ON THE 7TH OF DECEMBER.
HAHAHAHAHA to all Twilight fans - I'll be watching it earlier than all of you! LALALALALA.
The prospect of catching it before everyone else is actually more exciting than the movie itself! (I haven't even read the book. :)

Talks and more
I am getting very annoyed with the person who's supposed to be selling me the spesh book.
She takes ages to reply okay.
Unlike the girl who sold me the English books, who gave me all the relavant info.
This person sounds like they can't be bothered.
FINE, I shall buy from someone else. LALALA.
---
Being the wonderful and responsible students we were, Tienyi and I decided to attend the briefing for volunteers involved in the Second-hand book sale.
It was a rather weird feeling at first, because while we were walking up and into the school, there was no one else around, and the school looked eerily empty.
We walked in happily (eagerly, excitedly etc. etc.) and was stopped by this random guy who was drinking water at the water cooler (turned out he was the school janitor)
He asked who we were, because recently there had been people appearing in the school to paint graffiti and he had to make sure we weren’t the culprits.
To say I am rather insulted is an understatement.
Did he actually question us about vandalizing the school?!?!
We're such... school-loving people.
Even if we were intending to vandalize the shool, I don't think we'll be stupid enough to do it in broad daylight.
I mean, we're not that dumb.
By asking that, he was questioning our intelligence too.
Hmph.
Anyway, after we told him the obvious truth that was glaring in his face (We look like vandals meh?!), we walked over towards the theatrette and confidently walked in……..
Only to be greeted by a rather shocking sight (and smell): There was like cups and cups of wine put out on a very lovely table set up (I remember thinking like, wow they even have refreshments for us!) and a few.. old people dressed up nice and formal.
HAHAHAHA and the guy saw us looking rather lost, and asked if we were there to see the show.
I’m sorry la, but I answered a very firm “NO”.
I mean, we’re already late for the meeting and here was this random guy with this weird smile happily asking us if we were there to see his show.
We were already starting to panic by then, and walked out.
Only to find that, we were quite majorly trapped in the school compound.
So we sort of wandered around, and we met the janitor again.
Though we have already lost pretty much all our dignity (Who, really, who gets trapped in their own school?), we had to ask him to help us unlock the gate to let us out of the compund.
Made our way to the hall, only to find that it was EMPTY.
It was like our worst nightmare came true.
Not only were we the only ones who turned up, there wasn’t even A MEETING in the first place.
So we sort of stood outside, waiting in vain for a stampede of people to miraculously appear.
Of course, who do we meet again?
THE JANITOR.
I'm pretty sure he must have been quite suspicious of us by then.
Not only do we not seem like students (Losing our way in our own school? That's pretty sad.), our so-called meeting didn't seem to be taking place.
He must be laughing at us, thinking that he has twarted our plans and uncovered our lie about some stupid meeting when we were actually planning to spray paint all over the school.
That was when I caught sight of the lady standing in some tiny room in the hall
Thank god.
I think he was just about to cart us off to his office for questioning.
It turned out that there were NO OTHER STUDENT present except for Winnie.
The rest were all parents.
I really felt quite wrong-footed to be sitting there.
I mean, it was like we were in some retirement club meeting.
Okay la that's mean.
I felt like I was in a Mothers' Club meeting. :D
Its kind of sad, because after all our grief in finding the meeting, it wasn't exactly very informative. ):
--
Oh and today was also the first day of our prepartory talks for Year 12.
Its only English, and I'm getting scared.
Giving us so much holiday homework is mean.
Giving us the issues oral as holiday homework just cruel.
HOW CAN THEY SET THE ORAL TO BE IN THE THIRD WEEK OF SCHOOL?!?!
And to be reminded of the seriousness of this oral (Apparently, and I quote: "Not only is it a SAC, it is a stand alone SAC. That means if you fail this, you'll fail English". Thank you very much. That was so heart warming.)
I'm now very afraid of the other subjects' programs.
Very very afraid.

Wilsons Promontory! (:
First of all, BIGGGGGGGGGG congratulations to Irene, Melody and Tienyi and everyone else who got the school awards! :D
Its a rather scary feeling to be surrounded by so many smarties. :D
I attempted tobribe persuade Irene to donate me some of her prizes with a chocolate bar, but alas, it failed.
She was incorruptible. ):
--
I was out the whole day yesterday, because we went to Wilson's Promontory, which is like all the way at the bottom (South side) of Australia.
It was a three hours drive okay, which gave me and my brother much chance to clock up our driving hours. :D

(I looks so short D: )
It was sort of like a national park thing, with an expanse of beaches, mountains, and very nature-y stuffs.
We decided to climb to the top of Mount Oberon and OMG IT WAS WORTH IT OKAY.
The view was AWESOME! :DDD
The bus drove us up abit, because it wasn't possible to climb all the way from sea level.
It'll probably take about 10 weeks, and we're not that free. (Or that physically inclined, actually)
Anyway, so it was a one hour trek up from the carpark, and we slowly made our way up.
I didn't forsee that we would be climbing mountains, so I had worn my sneakers.
CAN YOU IMAGINE CLIMBING STEEP MOUNTAINS IN SNEAKERS?!?!

So we started our trek, slowly. Slowly.
After what seemed like 1000 years, I looked at my watch, and I realised that it was actually more like 15 minutes.
We finally reached the top one hour later!
It was really cool, because we had been seeing mountains after mountains around us the whole way up, and as we reached the last step of the staircase, we suddenly caught a glimpse of the wonderful wonderful oceans below us! :D

It doesn't look that nice here, but it was it was!
*jumps round in excitement*
It was reeeeeeeally cool because we were really literally at the tip of the mountain.
And there wasn't any sort of barrier ar the side, so a small slip, and we would drop off the edge.
Furthermore, it was so windy!!
My brother's cap flew off, and we never saw it again. LOL.

We were at the top top TOP of that mountain okay!
Don't play play. (:
There wasn't enough time to go anywhere else, like the most southern point of mainland Australia though.
):
So we shall have to make another trip there next time! Heheeeee.
Oh and we spotted a kangaroo on the way back!
Actually, I would have prefered it if we met a koala, then we can like, bring it home or something because its always sleeping anyway.
Kangaroos are very much awake, so we couldn't bring it home. ):

I drove all the way back last night, and it was tiring!!
My legs were already aching from all the climbing (Remember the SNEAKERS?! Painful!!), and I had to freeze my legs there for so long due to the driving, but it was fun.
I drove at about 80-100 km/hr for 3 hours! :DDDD
Now my hour count is almost 50hours!
Me happy. :D
Its a rather scary feeling to be surrounded by so many smarties. :D

Me happy. :D

Of successful deals and hospital trips
I feel so accomplished okay.
So yesterday, I struck a deal with some Year12, who wanted to sell her English books.
The initial price was $70 and I managed to reduce it to $55 okay!
YAY ME.
And it was reasonable bargaining because those books would only cost me $59 if I bought it through the school, so it didn't really make sense for me to spend an extra $11 just to buy from her.
So I pointed it out to her, and she agreed!
YAY ME AGAIN.
I am such an impressive bargain-er. :D
(I'm probably the only person in the whole level who has accuired Year12 books so early. Kiasu much?)
--
So we went out today to visit Sheryl at the hospital and spent so much time delibrating over what presents we were to buy her, and also buying her a card (Okay, so we bought the card at the hospital and wrote in it while being squashed in the tiny gift shop with a very ordinary blue pen which the shop provided us with, but she doesn't really need to know that)
AND YOU KNOW WHAT?!?!?!
The nurses refused to let us in! D:
After all our efforts taking the train all the way to the city, walking all the way to the hospital, risking our lives crossing the nightmarish roads, THEY TELL US THAT WE'RE NOT ALLOWED TO GO IN.
Because she was sleeping.
I mean, it is true that she needs her rest, but we are such wonderful people, they should at least let us go in and have a look at her.
Though... 5 people staring at her sleep is rather creepy, BUT STILL.
We didn't even get to see her. D:
I'm not happy okay.
Now Sheryl won't get to enjoy our presence, and she would not get the gifts personally from us, but instead from some random nurse who refused to let her see her wonderful friends. ):
So I shall just send her GET WELL SOON waves via telepathy, which she will totally receive because we have ESP. :D

Heat is yucky
The weather really sucks.
I FEEL SO STICKY AND YUCKY.
I WANT MY GLORIOUS WINTER BACK.
--
Results day yesterday, but it felt really surreal after such a long delay.
To go back for about 10 minutes just to get our summary results, with just a few letters representing the whole semester's work, it doesn't really cut it does it?
(OMG I FEEL SO STICKYYYYYY)
I'm just really pleased with the maths grades.
I'm in love with maths now. LOL. :D
And they didn't allow me to take a 6th subject.
Because of English, for which I got a whole row of B+s.
I VERY ANGRY OKAY.
They printed Mr Love as our teacher, even though hetaught us did nothing for about 4 lessons.
Not that msK did anything either before she left (Speaking of which, I still haven't expressed my disatisfaction that she just left without so much of a warning), BUT STILL.
His name printed there is just solid proof that he was the one who marked our papers, the one who gave us our grades, the one who spoilt all our results.
HMPH.
On a happier note, I GOT A NEW COMPUTERRRRRRRRR!
*explodes with excitement*
I DAMN HAPPY OKAY.
Though its not really set up properly yet, so I still can't use it, but soooooooon enough no more fighting for computer again! :DDDDDDDDD
I FEEL EVEN MORE STICKY NOW THEN BEFORE I STARTED TYPING THIS POST.

Cooking day! (:
Cooooooooooooking day today! :D
At this point of time, I must inform all readers that nothing got destroyed in any and all cooking involved, and Shireen’s house certainly did NOT burn down.
Of course, since we were such awesome chefs and all. (:
So the day started out with 10 star chefs meeting up and congregating in Shireen’s house for the great cookout.
We all came from different parts of the, er, suburb, but with one purpose: To cook the house down! (Perhaps not literally but, yeah)
It got so competitive, that they even attempted killing each other.
Of course, being the great blogger I was, I managed to capture that horrifying moment.
Just look at Shireen's sadistic smile. LOL.
We also managed to witness the historical moment of Tienyi’s first experience in cooking!
Funny that she was the one who actually organized the whole cooking day thing, given that she had never actually cooked anything before.
Slicing spring onions into small little pieces is no mean feat okay! Don't play play.
The menu was kind of weird, but… Uh… Its fusion cuisine! :D
Bhavjeet and Shireen made the pizza:
We watched it turn from a piece of dough lying in the sun
To a flattened base
To a wonderfully baked pizza with cheese and olives and… some other random ingredients. :D
Next up, we have Irene and Melody, who, being the experienced chefs, decided to take on two menu items: Cupcakes and Okonomiyaki (some Japanese pancake thing)
Cupcakes in its early stages...
Sent into the oven...
Result! :DDD
This is the Japanese pancake thing.
Its actually supposed to be eaten with the sauce (same as the Takoyaki one) but there's no sauce in this picture. ):
In addition to the pizza, we had another hot favorite, garlic bread, made by Rachel with the help of Richa.

It looks pretty normal, but there's the butter and garlic inside.
Of course, no meal can ever be complete without the ever important rice, of which the task of making fell on Tienyi, with my help here and there.
It was Heavenly Thai Pineapple Rice, adding a whole new different taste to the overall menu.
Colourful ingredients!
Expert (Ahem) skills of stir-frying on display.

It looks pretty and colourful! (Okay fine, this is a biased source)
End product!
It looks nice okay!
Siu took care of cooling us down in the hot weather with ice kachang!
We never really appreciate the importance and wonderful-ness of ice kachang until we are kept in a boiler room with a boiler temperature.
Of course, with all the cooking being done in one kitchen, the temperature was bound to rise!
Ice kachang machine!
It looked so cuteeeee!
I had imagine her to bring this enormous metal ice kachange machine much like the one PCK's mother uses, but.. erm. apparently not.
Okay this doesn't look very nice, because we only remembered to take the photos halfway while eating.
By then the mountain of ice has melted, and everything is like, mixed together.
But it was nice. :D

To end it all off, Yihrue made muahchee, a Chinese delicacy of which the secret recipe was given to her by her mother.
I didn’t manage to get a picture of it, because we were all happily eating it, forgetting to capture it on camera, but I assure you, it looked wonderful. :DDD
Of course, we need someone to be there, to eat and judge all out cooking.
The ever important task of tasting everything and commenting on our cooking fell on Sheryl, who stopped by for a while to eat the fruits of our labour. (Okay, that makes her sound very gluttony. Of course the chefs ate it too lah :)
LOL it looks very systematic from left to right. Richa is smelling the cupcake. Melody is about to eat the cupcake. And Irene IS eating the cupcake. HAHAHA.
Good chefs will never reveal all the blunders made in the kitchen.
So what happened today shall always remain a mystery.
Though, I do have to comment on the fact that Tienyi forgot to bring the rice needed for her heavenly fried rice.
Abit sad really. :D
We didn’t manage to get a group picture again, as always.
Everyone was hopping around excitedly, flitting from the backyard to the kitchen to the living room.. yup you get the idea.
This is the closest to a group picture of all the fabulous chefs involved in the great cookout that was today.
---
Now its time to start planning for our next activity day.
And I have decided. It shall be MOVIES DAY!
And I know the perrrrrrrfect location! :DDDDDDDDDD
TIENYI’S HOUSE! Because she has like millions of dvds.
We can just watch movies the whole day. COOL RIGHT? :DDDDDD
Visit from old friends
Been out for the last two days, because my mum's friends from Singapore had come visiting.
Its funny how I had sort of become used to hearing the accent here, and it sounded very... Singlish when they spoke in English.
I mean, I probably speak like them too, but its just weird hearing it again from others after almost a year.
To hear them speak carefree-ly, not bothering with masking all the lahs and lehs and slangs.
To hear them speak carefree-ly, not bothering with masking all the lahs and lehs and slangs.
So we brought them over to the Dandenong Ranges, where we met our friends the Parrots and Cockatoos again.
THE STUPID COCKATOOS BIT MY FINGER OKAY.
Twice.
And my dad refused to believe me when I told him.
It literally attempted to bite my thumb in between its beaks.
HMPH.
Had a BBQ cookout in some forest.
We're campers okay!
We cook our own food in the nature. :DDDD
They came over to our house for a while, and the daughter (12 years old, just completed PSLE) wanted to use the computer.
She was telling her dad about some blog, which (obviously) my ears picked up.
She was telling her dad about some blog, which (obviously) my ears picked up.
Bloggers are always supportive of their fellow bloggers', er, blogs and read them all.
So, being the
I think how I managed to get the address shall remain a mystery.
Let's all just assume that I'm a great spy.
Let's all just assume that I'm a great spy.
I should totally go and work as a Private Investigator. :DDD
Its always interesting to read a blog of someone you sort-of-know-but-sort-of-don't-really-know in real life, because its a way of seeing their inside thoughts.
Of course, I can't expect her to be writing philosophical thoughts all over her blog. (She's only 12! Kinda sad if she's already spending her precious childhood philosophising about why the sky is blue, or why the world is round.)
Anyway, so yes, I sneaked around and read.
Although it was literally narrating what she did everyday, I was a loyal reader, and read everything.
Okay now I feel rather stalkerish.
She doesn't even know that I know she has a blog. :/

Cooking Day is on right?
I have no idea what the plans are, because I have had no contact with anyone for the past few days. ):

Even genius minds need a break sometimes (:
I'm such a genius. :DDDDDDDD
No more fighting with my brother for the computer anymore! (for the weekend anyway)
Because........... I realised that I can just use my dad's laptop!
While everyone was fighting endlessly over the one and only (alive) computer in the house, the laptop sat quietly in the corner, forgotten and neglected, and I was the only kind soul who remembered it. :D
Yesterday was my first day of total freedom, and with nothing better to do on my hands, I decided to relieve my childhood life last night, and logged into Neopets.
After much persuasion from Cheryl.
Let me remind all readers that I have not logged in for 5 years, and I have definitely NOT been playing Neopets all through my secondary school life.
Okay, so I went straight to the games section.
Didn't bother feeding my pet, because it won't die anyway.
I have long realised that there was no point in feeding them
1. Its a waste or resources (money etc.)
2. No matter how long I starve them, they will never die, because the majority of Neopets users are young kids and the Neopets management can't make it such that the pets must be fed everyday. Because that would arise in many problems, such as, complete - total - addiction to the game (I MUST use the computer! I MUST feed my pets, or else they'll DIE!) and irreversible grief/trauma/guilt due to causing the death of their virtual pets (OMG it's MY fault they died! Why didn't I feed them! I don't deserve to live anymore! *jumps off bed*)
I played game after game, but failed to gain any satisfaction from completing a level of snake.
Instead, I found it more interesting and satisfying to play a game which required me to think. To stress. To concentrate really hard.
Yes, I am rather sadistic.
I insist on making my brain work even after the exams are over.
Probably because I haven't recovered from my exam-adrenaline high yet. LOL. :D
---
I strive for my blog would be as educational to readers as it possibly can be.
Kill two birds with one stone: Read blog. Learn new things.
So here is an essay written by a student about a person named Jimmy McPerson .
He is... somebody involved in America's History.
Read and learn :D
(Click to enlarge if too small)

Okay fine, I stole these out of some website. :D
This was apparently an actual essay that a student submitted to a teacher.

I'm glad my methods exam didn't come to this state.
I was close to scribble all over my paper in fustration, but no, I didn't draw a hanging dead man.
They'll probably send me for counselling.

I wish I could have written something like that for all those bio questions.
Because I don't think msP will appreciate reading all the answers I made up. :/
Okay I have officially lost my touch with blogging.
Maybe Neopets is more suited for me. For now.

Freedom embraced
Everything is finally over!!!!!! :D :D :D :D
Though its already sort of an anticlimax because the rest of the world has already been celebrating for so long.
But no matter.
Just a few points for today (After so long of being deprieved, I think I have lost all my blogging motivation and obsession for the time being. Add to that a lack of school things to talk about and fill my posts with, yeah, boring blogs galore):
- I cleaned my room.
I guess it can be considered as a form of tarrying, because it was actually the day before the MGA paper.
But now its nice and clean and new and empty and awesome!
I loveeeeeeee my room now.
And I have kept the cleanliness up for 3 days ok! (:
- My computer is beyond salvation.
No explanation needed. Condolences (preferably in the form of donations eg. brand new laptops) are welcome.
- Barack Obama won the Election.
It was kinda cool, because my brother had turned on the TV, and they were showing live coverages of the vote counting.
And I got to watch all the speeches live. :DDDD
YES WE CAN!
Its hard to not awed at the eloquency of all the speeches being made.
I mean, think about the panic we had over a 5minute speech to an audience of 20 people.
Its not even fit to be compared.
Oh speaking of which, I found language analysis to be very useful when listening to his speech. He used many many techniques okay. There was inclusive language (YES WE CAN!) and... um. I forgot. But there was alot, I REMEMBER.
- We are going to have cooking day on Tuesday.
We shall all ignore the fact that it is a rather disguised attempt at a second round of Bloggers' Day...... Seeing that most of the people who are going are actually bloggers, but ANYWAY.
We're going toburn down celebrate the art of cooking in Shireen house! :D
Of course, its totally not coincidental that Cooking Day turned out to be the very day before our results come out.
But since it has turned out that way, we shall cook niceeeeeeeee and wonderful and sinful foods to stuff ourselves with on Wednesday after collecting our results.
In celebration of course. Heheeee.
That's all I have to say today.
I think I still in semi-exam mood, and am still suffering from the trauma of all the exams.
I'm still stressed about bio. :/

Goodbye my dear
As of right now, I am mourning the death of my computer.
Well, its not exactly dead yet, but its as good as.
I can't even turn it on without it hanging, don't even talk about signing in to msn, or bloghopping or whatever surfing I have to do on the internet.
Sad isn't it?
I shall take it as a blessing in disguise, because it crashed down on me just when I am supposed to start studying (and panicking) about the two exams I have left.
I'm feeling rather isolated from the community in general because:
1. No msn.
2. No email.
3. No sms. (Credit ran out)
(Irene, this is the reason why I couldn't reply your sms, because I only have $0.42 left in my phone. Abit sad really.)
You'd think all these circumstances (or lack thereof) would allow me to study really peacefully, but its in fact making me more distracted. :/

Of old times and new meanings
Its funny now a simple act, a simple sound like that can evoke such thoughts and memories.
Stacking up those plastic chairs might have been a simple job, but the very sound of which just made me remember how we used to set up for band.
Funny isn't it? All those countless times we add up the number of people from each section who were present for practice. How we pulled out the towering stacks of chairs. How we got all the double-stacked chairs for the last row. How sometimes, the turnout would be so bad that there might only be about 5 people in the last row. How we set up our instruments. How much we didn't think of it as anything significant.
Nothing can ever be the same as it was. Batch by batch, the band had its own differences, characteristics. The band I knew wouldn't be the same as the band the graduates of 2006 remember it. Sure, everyone of us go through a general experience. Syf, concert, school performances. But it's the tiny things that really make a difference. Its been so long, so long since I last held my instrument, and it really sucks. I really miss it. So much. Hard to believe how I half-heartedly tried to get out of it when I was sec1.
And just like that, wave after wave of nostalgia washes past me. And I really don't regret all the days, months, years spent with the band. Probably the whole reason is you. I'm really glad I got to meet you through band.
And I wouldn't change it for the world.
---
Today is my last day of freedom, because I have decided that I will start studying from tomorrow onwards.
And of course, being the non-procrastinator I am, I shall do so.
Nevermind the fact that I'm supposed to have started since Thursday.
Speaking of which, I feel that the word procrastinator is overused.
I learnt of this word really long ago, but now it seems like everyone is using it, which makes it not that much of a bombastic word anymore.
So today, I shall introduce everyone to a new word: Tarrier
"Tarry" has many meanings, but I refer to the specific one that is:
"Tarrier" doesn't have as much class as "Procrastinator" does it?
But its much newer! And not used at all!
I likeeeee. :D

"Tarry" has many meanings, but I refer to the specific one that is:
Tarry \Tar"ry\, v. t.
1. To delay; to defer; to put off.
Tarrier \Tar"ri*er\, n.
One who, or that which, tarries.
"Tarrier" doesn't have as much class as "Procrastinator" does it?
But its much newer! And not used at all!
I likeeeee. :D

What a banananana world we live in
For some reason, November 1st sounds so different from Oct 31st.
Its just one day, but it feels like a whole lot of difference.
November sounds so close to the end of the year. ):
We went over to Dandenong Market today, and practically bought the whole fruit stall home.
Currently, I have a whole box of mangoes (YAY MANGOES!) and an even larger box of bananas.
I feel like I'm living in banana world.
I don't think readers can really imagine what I mean by a box of bananas.
Mind you, its not a box containing 5 bananas.
Actually, it contains more like 50 bananas. (I'm serious! I'm not exaggerating.)
We can totally open a fruit stall now. :D
