school was okay.
went early and waited in the VCE Centre to meet the Year 11 coordinator.
there were other new students too, i think about 18 of us or something, so it was okay.
she explained some stuff, gave us our timetables then gave us a tour around the school
hahaha.
the school's rather big, since its a mixture of the middle and senior school campuses. XD

found out that two other girls from the new students group are have also moved from singapore. i was quite surprised though.
Rachel was from Tanjong Katong Girls' School if i'm not wrong and Irene was from Nanyang Girls' and UWC.
wow.
hahahaha.

so we were allocated our lockers.
HAHA.
there was no more space in the Year 11 locker area so they gave the new Year 11 students lockers at the Year 12 area.
yay.
hahaha.
had assembly, then went for General Maths class.

i was quite surprised though.
the class had only about 15 students, which is a big difference from singapore.
today was a short day.
was dismissed at 12.
if only its like this everyday. XD

came back and saw bryant online.
for once, in the afternoon, somebody is online.
hahahahaha.
chatted with him awhile...
he was nice. (:
i was like, being there in person is better than internet.
and he was like, being there virtually is better than not being there at all. (:
it helped calm my nerves from thinking about stuff which are depressing.

trying to get back to the routine of going to school.
still can't. ):

so school's opening tomorrow already.
after so long, my holiday is finally over.
i can't believe that its been more than two months since O levels ended and i have not attended proper school for about 3 months.

okay so i just came back from my first driving lesson!! (:
haha.
we went to this carpark nearby, its like, open-air, so there's quite abit of space for us to practice...
kind of weird to get adapted to the steering wheel, i still can't really get the hang of it yet.
but the thing that carpark is that there is no one really long straight road where we can drive, and there are a lot of humps.
so like, i couldn't drive continuously without slowing down either for the hump or to turn.
heh.
had to keep turning and turning.
HAHAHAHA.
i almost went onto the kerb once.
my dad was like pulling the handbrake to stop me, and my mum was like telling me, press the brake!!
i kinda blured for a while. hehe. but of course, managed to stop in time.
lol, and there were like, a few cars driving around just at that moment, and when they saw me driving straight to the kerb, they, erm, stopped.
though they were quite far away.
i think they were scared of me.
HAHAHA.
driving with an L plate on the car is cool..
everyone clears the way for me!

have been sitting on the floor and using the computer for quite a few days now, since we haven't managed to get a computer table yet.
so after prolonged hours of sitting like this, my back really hurts now, so just a quick post.

when i heard i got 6 dist. i expected that it might have been my bio which did not get A.
so it was kinda sad to see that my lit was the one that got a B3. ):
i totally didn't expect get an A2 for bio, considering it was one of my worst subjects. (:
kinda disappointed with my L1R5 though...
but i did my best, that's what matters. (:

really wanna thank everyone who congratulated me.
kinda touched really.
and especially youngmin who smsed me and jian yun who called my aunty to tell her the good news.
i was almost dying with anxiousness over here until my aunty told me about the call.
at least it gave me some assurance while i was waiting for her to knock off from work and go over to bbss to help me collect my results.
hee yup want thank her too for taking the trouble!
she had to rush all the way to school to catch mrs liu before she left. (:
and of course wanna thank the teachers too!
without their help and guidance, i couldn't have acheived what i have yesterday.


somehow, after the much awited results are out.. it feels kinda empty.
like there's nothing left for me to look forward to anymore.

i didn't sleep well last night.

much as i try not to think about it, i can't.
people tell me it doesn't matter to me at all, that i have nothing to be nervous about.
they ask me, then why you still take Olevels?
well, that kinda irritates me.
just because of the fact that it doesn't affect me like how it affects everyone else, it doesn't mean i'll rejoice if i get all C6s.

heeee yesterday finally got contact again with a primary school friend whom i have not met for a few years.

the whole time while i was in singapore, we didn't meet at all though she lived in cck ave 4 and me in ave 2.
but now that i'm in australia, much further away, i regained contact with her again.

so tomorrow's D-Day.
for all the sec 4s of 2007.
i think by now the results slips should be in singapore already, maybe even in school already.
haha.
i kinda really want to go back and witness this really special day where we finally learn how much our hard work has paid off...
how people get regconition for all the hard work they have put in.

anyway, it'll be out at 2pm in singapore.
haha, my aunty will be collecting my results for me and she'll be going at about 4 or 5 i guess.
so sad, by then it'll be about 7 or 8 here already.
i'll have to wait the whole day!

YAY i passed the learner driving licence test!
heh heh.
so i can like, start driving on the roads already.
the only condition is that i have to have a supervising adult with me when i'm doing so, since like, i'm still in the stage of learning.
but still, fact remains. I CAN DRIVE!
lol.

waited super long for my turn to take the test la.
the test booking time for me was 11.50, but we arrived there at about like, 10.45.
so waited really long, looking at all the other people with earlier test times go in to take the test and come out smiling.
haha, it was a computerised MCQ test, 32 questions.
i think if get 78% correct can pass already.
i got 94%!

so sad la, i answered this question and just after i clicked "next", i rmb that the answer i had chosen was wrong.
ahhhhhh.
if i had remembered in time, i could have gotten 100%.

i feel like posting, but i have nothing to post about.

its been real boring staying at home, not doing much.
been so long since i last went to school that i'm even starting to miss that.
like, the whole routine of going to school just gives me at least, something to do.
feels so long since that time last year when we were all mugging like mad for our Olevels. (:

vv told me that their prelims will be in july this year.
omg that's like so early la!
my prelims were at the end of august last year and i was already struggling with that.
ha. (:

today the weather's quite cold, has been for the past few days.
what a relief!
the weather here can be quite extreme, sometimes its so hot, i feel like i'm melting.
the thing is that my house only has a heater, no air-con.
haha and no fan either.
so like, if there's nothing we can do except bear with the heat.
there was once, 30th Dec, it went up to 42 degrees and everyone was so shocked, like, that has been the hottest for the whole of last year.
on days like that, my house feels like a sauna la.
haha.
many people keep going on about how the winter here in Melbourne is gonna be very cold.
which is making us all kind of nervous, like, oh no, what if we can't stand it?
lol.
but they always say the first winter will be the worst.

first post of the year.
first post since i arrived. (:

i really tried to post a few weeks ago, and i typed out one really really long post.
but you know what?!
when i clicked "publish post", there was some error and the whole super long post i so painstakingly typed out freakin disappeared.

been almost a month since and basically i've been slacking away the whole time.
my school will be starting on the 30th, so i still have some time to continue slacking.
hee.
i've already bought all the books and stuff, omg, they're like damn ex.
and the summer uniform's really ugly.
haha.
so what i'll be learning for the next two years will be kinda a mix of o level stuff and jc stuff.

ooh i can start learning how to drive already!
wahahahaha.
i'll be taking the basic theory test on the 21st, and if i pass that, i'll get the learner's licence.
with that, i can start learning already!
over here, we can just learn from anyone who knows how to drive, like my dad.
no need driving instrutors.
but the catch is that i can only take the driving practical test after i turn 18.
oh wells.

for the past few weeks, we've been borrowing some dvds from my dad's friend.
his sons have like a whole collection of dvds, original and pirateds too.
lol.
so i've watched quite a few movies at home, and i've also been borrowing books from the library.
ha.
went to join up as a member only to find out that it doesn't seem as if many young people go there.
all the people i've seen there are.. rather old.
maybe that's coz its a weekday and everyone is at work, but who knows?
anyway, i can borrow like a max of 30 books at any one time so that's really scary.

i look forward to the results coming out.
there's been rumors going around on when the exact date but none of the seems to be confirmed.
but i think it'll be around the end of jan so yup, looking forward to that! (:
