didn't exactly study much last night.
but in the end, i don't think it would have helped if i studied anyway, because it was those kind of tests where you have to think and apply what you know.
not so much of memorising and vomiting everything back onto the paper.
anyway, so instead i watched a dvd last night.
it was called Shawshank Redemption.
actually, before yesterday, i had never heard of it before in my life.
its about this guy who was sent to jail for having apparently murdered his wife.
but actually, he was innocent, and had been framed.
the sad thing is, he only found out after about 20 years of staying in the prison.
and what's more, even when he could prove that he was innocent, the prison warden refused to let him have another trial.
so in the end, he escaped!
it was so cool la.
for that whole 20 years that he had been there, he had been slowly chipping away the rock from the wall, forming sort of a tunnel for him to escape from.
when there's a will, there's a way!
:D
and AND is it true that when a judge sentences a person to two life sentences, it actually means 40 years??
i didn't know!!
that guy was sentenced to two life sentences.
and i was thinking like, how can he possibly serve two lifetimes in jail??
and my dad laughed at me and said a life sentence means 20 years.
irene!! is it true?! (:
